We are at the end of the first week of the Last Man Standing knockout competition for 50 S.B.I and out of 35 contestants 13 got knocked out already. It was not a good start as Manchester United drew which means there was a mass.Wolves also lost which was a major surprise especially to yours truly who picked them . So I am knocked out which is fine because one of the rules of steem basic income is that you cannot send to yourself. There were some major exits this week with the former champion @davor27 falling to his knees. The difficult second season @davor27, I am sorry for your troubles. The other former champion @jclark got through with Everton playing very well this weekend beating Cardiff 1-0. Below are the results and a brief summary and some consolation prizes.

@abh12345 first time entry in last man standing ended in tears today with Manchester United unable to beat Crystal Palace. Unfortunately drawing a game means an immediate knock out. Because you were such a great sport and entered this great competition, I have a little something in Blanchy's consolation goodie bag. You win is a nice stroll down the promenade in Cala D'or Mallorca and you can also stop into a coffee shop and have a nice espresso out of your own money. There's no limit on that prize by the way. @cryptoandcoffee who is waiting for a rugby competition is gritting his teeth and picking a football team. You are through and I cannot think of anyone else that will have the fixtures out between musing posts to makes sure he wins and gets the prize!

@balticbadger sailed through as well which is strange for an American to know so much about the sockkker. But I will translate it for you badger, The Man City franchise had 4 insertions against the West side Hammers and the game was over after the second quarter with a Leeroy Sane body kick against a pretty lame West Side Hammers deefense and some dumbass goal tendering.

@melinda010100 I was concerned you picked Fulham but I think it was written in the stars that you would get through.I saw it in the squirrels eyes in your post.

@ykdesigns Unlucky but you got knocked out. Commiserations. The good news is you have a consolation prize. The next time you shampoo your hair, Shampoo it again, free of charge and put in some conditioner after it.

@pcste You and I picked the same team. Your consolation prize is to take the day off work at your own expense. Have a sleep in and maybe watch a film in your dressing gown. Again this prize doesn't have an end date so you can redeem it anytime.

@erikah You got through. Congratulations. I was a bit concerned during the game when Arsenal were getting a nice few offside flags against them for no reason but they prevailed in the end as they always do. Welcome to the next round.

@brittandjosie Commiserations . I picked Wolves also and got knocked out. Your special prize is to go into Primark Rotterdam and tell the general manager Alan that he is bring you for a coffee or beer. Preferably before the 4 o clock post.

@janton commented on the last man standing posts 125 times with every question imaginable. He then entered the competition 5 minutes before the deadline saying that he didn't want to win. He picked Watford so his wish came through. @janton your special prize is that you can watch the new Coen brothers film the ballad of Buster Scruggs and I asked your wife if she can give you a beer and a nice comfortable chair during the film.

@hamg96 You have been knocked out. Your consolation prize from Blanchys goodie back is to go out to your favourite restaurant and buy yourself a nice meal out of your own money. You deserve it.

@futuremind Everton ended up being a great choice and you still have the top 6 to choose from next week. Those who pick the top six in the first 3-4 weeks risk a harder challenge later on in the competition. Good choice.
