Hmm awesome topic. I haven't thought about having a most prized possession as I really don't pay much value to material thing but it just occurred to me that I hold dearly a silver necklace my fiance gave to be not because its really expensive but because it signifies our bond and since the day she gave it to me it hasnt come off my neck for almost 2yearz now. What Is Your Most Prized Possession?
My pictures.
Pictures which drives me around the path of my life. Pictures which brings my memories back. Pictures which make me smile, make me cry. Pictures that show me how am I loved, how I am happy and how I am surrounded by loving people.
They gather all my memories and they make me hopeful. I always thought that if suddenly they would be a fire in my apartment, which I hope won’t happen. I would grab my hard drive and leave my place. This is the most precious possession I have got.
They can take me to the beautiful memories of the past. Memories are powerful. Memories tie us to people, places, feelings and dreams. Memories need to be protected and preserved for the day when we may not remember, can’t remember or do not want to remember or might need a small hope for the future.
This way; the past is always present. The past that created us as who we are today, pictures tell your story and people whom you share your pictures with, are connected to your story. It helps you to share and to be connected to your friends, family or whomever you show your pictures to.
Pictures can manifest emotions that words can not. You can hardly remember your first year on this Earth, and pictures are there to bring these sweet moments back to your memory.
