And why I have this photo of Scott Ian considering I'm not an Anthrax fan? Have you noticed that I was at first line of the concert? Let me explain it to you:
It wasn't an Anthrax concert. Scott Ian is Pearl Aday's husband. Who is Pearl Aday? She is a great singer but also she's Meat Loaf's daughter, so Scott Ian is Meat Loaf's son-in-law!
In March 2008 I was in London and checked what concerts could I go. I saw that Pearl was playing at Candem's Barfly. Must say that in 2016 the venue changed the owners and the name to Candem Assembly so don't look for Barfly anymore!

I had listened to some Pearl's music before going to the concert and I like a lot her voice so I didn't have any doubt about going to the concert. Entering the venue before the opening band started to play I just had in front of me Scott Ian. I wasn't expecting him even that I know that was Pearl's husband so it was a nice surprise. I asked him to take a photo and he nicely agreed. We had a little talk and I noticed he was a nice guy. Actually I told him that I only had seen them (Anthrax) one time in Sziget Festival in Budapest. I actually went to Anthrax's press conference at the festival and it was really fun!
Well coming back to Pearl's concert, it was a good live gig. Pearl has a really nice voice and the band was also great. Ian doesn't want to be the star at the show, he gives the main role to her wife, and she is a great front(wo)man.
