One of the objectives of the SBC has always been to create a community where people interact and support each other. As a way incentivize this, every SBC member that show they want to grow on Steemit by following a few fair guidelines will be able to enter this contest and win their share of the prize pool!
1. Upvote Distribution
Maximum 21% of your votes can go to the same person and maximum 35% to the top 2 Regardless the size of the upvotes, voting behavior really matters and nobody should give the same person more than 2 full upvotes every single day
2. Delegation
You can not have an outgoing SP Delegation for selfish reasons to bid-bots or other similar initiatives. (This mainly for accounts smaller than 200-500SP) If your upvote is worth below 0.01$ and you are not in a position to give anything to others it's really hard to tolerate SP delegations for selfish reasons.3. Mutual Support
While this is not mandatory, it would be nice to see more SBC members give each other some support and show more care about the community aspect instead of just caring about the @sbcbot upvotes. I made a post about the community progress some days back highlighting this issue. It would be nice to see SBC members try out Steemauto which is a tool that helps to automate voting so it takes up a lot less time.
- 1 Go to the Steemauto Website [Link]
(Steemvoter | Steemdunk | Steemautomated are alternatives.) - 2 Log in with Steemconnect
- 3 Click on Fanbase
- 4 Type the account you want to give auto-upvotes [Image]
- 5 Adjust the voting rules [Image]
- 6 Done, support will now be given to that person automatically and it is more likely that you will get support from others in a similar way.
Everyone gets 1000% of voting power (10x 100% upvote) that refreshes on a daily basis so best to stay above 70% voting power at all times. It is more important for smaller accounts to mostly support each other instead of the bigger accounts in the community. It can be chosen how the voting power is being set, if part of it goes to other SBC members it's already a big step forward.
4. Efforts to grow
This is also not mandatory but it is nice to see everyone having somewhat of a growing mindset by doing what they can to improve their posts, increase social engagement and power up as much as possible so you and the community grows as a group.SBC Exclusive Prize
There will be an extra prize only SBC members can win in the contest. The best scoring SBC Member will get a 4 week 30SP delegation. Only accounts <500SP qualify for this and delegations stack up. If there is more mutual support these delegations can potentially help everyone grow a bit faster. I will also see if I can add some Upvote Shares that give daily upvotes from the @upvoteshares account as an extra prize exclusively for SBC Members.
@costanza thank you for opening the contest to the SBC members that don't have enough SP to meet $0.01 vote requirement.
Let's have some fun!

@costanza is a master to invent different rules) I don't say that is bad, it makes a sense. So we are waiting for contest!
But if it goes such a booze (Ukrainian saying) then i would add rule about self-voting percent, excluding hosts of contests (because they are self-voting to increase prize pool)

Thanks @barbadosso, I don't mind making exceptions for the rules and I see them more as a general guideline. The new ideas is mainly aimed towards improving community aspect of the SBC and guiding newer members in the good direction.
The 0.01$ upvote is not so much about the upvote itself and I would not even mind no upvote at all. Time efficiency is quite important to me and it is one of the best ways to keep things clean and check for valid entries.
Good luck participating this season !
You qualify will qualify for the SBC exclusive prize pool, keep it up!

So there are about 8 people that received multiple upvotes from me. I still don't know who those 8 are. Although I can guess. I do know that I qualify for the contest.

I really appreciate your thoughts about growing new Steem users. This is a very kind step I most of people start using this approach everyone will start earning on Steem.
