This is the start of the 2nd year hosting the EPL Betting Contest (See all Season 2017-2018 Posts and Results). More than last season, this contest will aim to help people grow on Steemit in hopefully a fun way. The contest will reward those who best beat the asian handicap. If you are not familiar with asian handicaps, it allows for 50%-50% situation in a football match so nobody can get an advantage by just taking the teams who are more likely to win.

To Enter This Contest

• You need to contribute at least a 0.01$ upvote!

• Community driven SBC Members do not require a 0.01$ upvote!
• Closely Linked accounts can get entry rejected.
  (1 contestant per household)
• Contest Leechers can get Entry Rejected.
  (if you are only on steemit to play contests and cash out)
• Maximum 35 Contestants
• This contest closes on Friday 19:00 UK Time.

• Each contestant must choose 5 different bets.
  There are 40 options to choose from as each match has Home | Away | Over | Under
• Multiple bets on the same match are not allowed.
• Ranking will be made by profit based on listed odds.
• I will upvote your entry so you know your bets are recorded.
  (Due to low Steem Price and the Dust Threshold you might want to check @dustsweeper if you want that upvote to be paid out)

3 Steem Jackpot Prize Pool

• Someone making 4 Units or more Profit unlocks the Jackpot.
• 50% will be paid out to the the Jackpot Winner.
• 50% will be split between other contestants based on made profit.
• If multiple Jackpot winners = The one with most profit wins !
• If equal amount of profit, the first who entered wins !
• No Winner = Jackpot is transferred to next week's contest.
• 100% of This post Liquid Earnings will be added to next week's contest.
• Payouts can be done in Steem Power instead of Liquid Steem.

  A 0.100 Steem @dustsweeper sponsorship for everyone that joins! The Dust Threshold is a rule on Steemit where payouts of 0.019$ or below get turned into dust to prevent spam. Dustsweeper is an initiative that helps to get those payouts above that level. Since current Steem Price does not allow me to upvote each contestant around 0.025$ without totally draining my voting power, I will sponsor everyone who enters around 0.200$ worth of dustsweeper funds.

  Monthly Leaderboard Winner

  
  Each month a ranking will be made based on made profit that month. The one who ends up on top will be sponsored 1 Upvote Share that will give out daily upvotes for a long time to come. For more info check what this project is about and follow @upvoteshares . More prizes might be given on a monthly basis and a season Leaderboard will likely also be made and have some prizes.

  The top SBC Member that supports other Community Members will get a 4 week 30SP Delegation. This prize is mainly to help smaller accounts grow and everyone with 500SP+ will not qualify for this prize. The top SBC member on the monthly leaderboard will also get 1 Upvote Share (Only accounts that support other SBC members and if the win was taken by a non-sbc member)
