It's been a while since I've held a book in my hands and I feel bad about that, wanna get back to reading books again.
My favorite book is: Agatha Christie - The 13 Problems
I really love her writing style, she has the finest mystery novels of all time. I am so huge fan that I've watched all Hercule Poirot movies :) Here is the book cover, looks lovely :)

This book is so amazing. It's the first financial book I read. It killed my financial ignorance. Giving money principles. That I've applied and that have helped me a lot.

A fat purse quickly empties if there be no stream to fill it.

The book makes me understand that no matter how much you earn, how you manage it is what really matters.

This is another awesome book. It pushes you to go out of your way, quit giving excuses and do all your desire.

My role model wrote this. Myles Monroe. I love this man. This book answers all my life questions. Why am I here? Why am I given time.
Death is not man's worst fear, it's fear of not knowing why you're here.

When men were men and women were won by those who deserved them. As a youth I loved nothing more than a good fight or a hard race on horseback.

From the name you might think you know it all but believe me this is way beyond your imagination or thinking, its deep.

Reading this book made me lose the word "impossible" and by thinking about things (positively) you draw them into existence, it also made me Expect the best and get it, Believe in myself and in everything i do, develop the power to reach my goals(which isn't easy but its one step at a time), Break the worry habit and achieve a relaxed life, Improve my personal and professional relationships, Assume control over any circumstances, Be kind to myself.
The book is phenomenal! You need to read it @crystalpacheco30 if you haven't read it.

My favorite book is how to make friends from dale carnegie.

Well my most favorite book is probably Man's search for Meaning. It's an excellent book by Victor Frankl, and it has two parts. The first which is the story telling part, is about victor-a psychiatrist who tries to survive in a concentration camp(s) during WWII. He takes you through his heart wrenching experiences about what they made him do, and how he lived his live. However, the main objective is to show you rather, how he made it through it successfully. Unwilling men dropped like flies in the book, but essentially he said everyone that had a reason to live, something to do after this could survive off of that. And that's exactly what he did, he found a meaning to his life, which was his wife and the unfinished book he hadn't published yet.

Moreover, the second part talks about how to find meaning. The different types of meaning, and how those different types apply to real life situations. It's a truly fascinating book I found when trying to learn more about psychology. Nevertheless this is my entry. Thanks for the opportunity!

When it comes to my favorite book, I would have to be honest and say this is a hard choice to make. I might say there are plenty of books that I have read and said omg, this book just changed my mind and the way I see the world. But to be honest, what would be our society and our history be without books? That's why I decided to share with you one of the most incredible dystopias: Farenheit 451, I think this one is a book that is worth to read for everybody because it shows how gray would the world be without books. I highly recommend everybody this book, and If you are a book reader as me, I'm sure you would appreciate the value of this book. One of the best books I have ever read and so far my favorite.

I did enjoy every piece of this book - couldnt sleep for days

Oh this is a hard one. So I think I'll choose the one that had the greatest impact on me.

Shogun is a historical fiction about Westerners than land on the shores of Japan and end up staying. It's an old book, so I'm sure there's cultural insensitivities but it taught me a lot about the feudal hierarchies of Japan. It also ignited my love for Japan - and now I've been back three times. The best bits are visiting some of the places mentioned in the book.

There was a TV series made of it - and I wish Netflix or HBO would remake it today. It would be incredible.

Anyhow - it's certainly one of my favourites and if I had to point to one that affected my life. This would be it. Address: jfolkmann1

one of the first books i remember reading start to finish - its was for a book report for school.

The story has always stuck with me , and the movie (cartoon) is really good too.

I have moved a lot during my life - maybe thats why the story resonates with me so well. ;)

I love the Daren Shan's demonata series, but if I'd have to pick one book from the series it'd be the first book "Lord Loss". I started reading it ages ago and it made me love reading around middle school and high school :)

Thank you @crystalpacheco30 for always making this platform fun!

I have several books I like, but one that touch my heart is this small book collection of quotes from my grandfather:

This is a super hard question. Often, my favorite book is the book I'm currently reading, although I suppose there are a couple books I come back to frequently. So I have 3 books to share:

Persuasion by Jane Austen, Guerrillas of Desire: Notes on Everyday Resistance and Organizing to Make a Revolution Possible by Kevin Van Meter, and Sojourning for Freedom: Black Women, American Communism, and the Making of Black Left Feminism by Erik McDuffie.

2018-04-19 15.52.37 HDR.jpg2018-04-19 15.49.57 HDR.jpg

Guerrillas of Desire is about the history of collective worker movements outside the formal organizing structure of the union or anything like that.

Sojourning for Freedom is about the involvement of Black women feminists in the Communist Party of the United States in the first half of the 20th century. I'll be studying with the author when I start my grad program in the fall. (History PhD program for the win! I also love history, in case you couldn't tell, lol. Washington's Secret Six is on my TBR list.)
