WARNING: The use of images that are not your own on which you claim the ownership will be flagged - HELPING TO STOP PLAGIARISM ON STEEMIT

Hello fellow Steemians!

Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday - where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 150 SBD! Today you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of Australia. I am also adding New Zealand to the same challenge as there were some concerns from other Steemians to which continent NZ belongs to.

Your entries need to be submitted by the midnight of Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. The rule number one is to use only personal images. Ten winning photos will receive an upvote from me from which I will pick one winner that will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts.

The winner of daily challenge then competes against winners from other continental challenges of the respective week to receive the price of 15 SBD. That will be decided by you based on the dollar value of upvotes of my winning post announcement. The winning weekly picture then automatically enters other rounds for the price of 150 SBD in total.

Please see the winner of Asian Sunday and give him your support if you like his image to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for him by upvoting his winner announcement post below:

@jpphotography Asian Sunday entry:

Streets of Bangkok
Bangkok was my last destination before returning home after 18 months of travelling. The busy city that has so many faces was a fascination place to visit. This shot taken from a bridge connecting two of Bangkok's major shopping malls captures the traffic in the large city.

Road to 2018
The new year has started. Steem price is up already😃

This photo was taken on our way from Lake Tekapo to Queenstown. A long the way was a huge salmon farm called High Country Salmon, which can be visited if you like.
What's most remarkable about this picture is actually that we stopped several times during the two weeks in New Zealand, sometimes even on the road, and took photos and no car was insight either way 😃

And the second day of the New Year? Already shooting up to the stars:).....

Stay tuned for the winner announcement. Tomas

I love Australia. In 2016 I had the pleasure to travel along Australia's east coast for five weeks and stopped at many wonderful places. This photo here was taken at Fingal Head south of Brisbane. Those interlocking basalt columns look great with the sea rushing around them. Then I was also very lucky with the light that morning. The glowing sky was the icing on the cake.

Amazing photo!

This is a greater shot with a great composition. Well done!

Amazing image @mibreit-photo. Some great contributions to this weeks comp but I think you've got my vote!

Thank you :-)

I am just short of words! Stunning shot!

That is an amazing photo! Well done @mibreit-photo

Flinders Street Station, Melbourne

Last year, I decided to interrupt my nomadic travel life for a while and settle in Melbourne for three months to work as a salesman. This was a very interesting experience and I loved Melbourne. Flinders Street Station is upon the most iconic landmarks of Melbourne; I went there many times, mostly for the fast WiFi.

Flinders Street Station always looks great!

Love it.

What a great entry! Thank you for you support!

A view of Christchurch NZ from the top of a hill. Close by the city, there are hills or mini mountains! Reaching the summit of it gives to anyone a wonderful 360 degrees view over the city and it's surrounding. On one side is the city, and this shot is what's on the overside!
A spectacular scenery just 2 step away from town!

Location: Christchurch, New Zealand.

Beautiful picture!

Thank you 😀

This was taken whilst on the ferry from circular quay in sydney to taronga zoo for vivid at taronga. I have seen the harbour many times but to watch the sunset with the breeze through my hair was another experience in itself

Thank you so much for your entry and participation. what a great picture. Kindly stay tuned for the winner announcement coming soon. Tomas

Happy New Year! We went to the North Sydney Pool today and I think this pool has one of the best views in Australia. Imagine swimming right next to the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge or soak up the sun right next to Luna Park. Definitely a must visit if you want to visit Sydney and go in for a swim.

Thank you for your submission. Stay tuned for the winner announcement coming out soon. Tomas

Note this photo is my own and not to be stolen, thank you.

Australia - the land of beauty and wonder. I left my life at home for a life on wheels and saw many magical wonders. But nothing is as breathtaking as Uluru - she is so large you really can't comprehend it until you are standing beneath her.

Do pay Australia a visit some time - the trip I made literally saved my life (I am busy blogging about it) --- I think there is something for every one of you there, if you just start looking.

Thank you for your entry and participation. The winner announcement will be coming in the separate post shortly. Tomas

Sea of Clouds

This photo was taken on my second climb to Mt Ngauruhoe (a.k.a. Mt Doom for you Lord of the Ring fans). I somehow convinced a few of my colleagues/friends to go with me and do the hike at sunrise. We were rewarded with one of the most beautiful sunrises I've ever seen. The clouds rolled in and out like a sea of clouds, revealing the beauty hiding beneath it :)

Amazing shot! Thank you so much for your participation. Stay tuned for the winner announcement coming soon. Tomas

Vivid Sydney 2017

A spectacular display of lights in one of the most iconic buildings in the world. So glad to have finally ticked this off my bucket list :) Happy New Year everyone! Hope 2018 brings more happiness and blessing to each and everyone.

What a perfect color picture of the New Year`s wishes. Kindly stay tuned for the winner announcement. Tomas

This photo was taken at the majestic Mt Cook, New Zealand. Me and my friend Charles were walking few times from the campsite to Hooker lake to take a fresh dip in the glacier water. Simply amazing place and if you're around NZ, you MUST visit it.

Looks sooo much like Wilson’s prom!!! Have you heard of it or been there? It’s in vic Australia :)

I haven't, will check it out :)

yeh minus the snow, this looks like the leg between the light house and waterloo bay :) Always reminds me of Jurassic Park! haha

I don't really have a pic of the exact part I am talking about but here is nearby :)
It's really easy hiking because they are man-made paths (still hilly etc but not a mountain range) -- if you enjoy hiking a strongly suggest you take a week to do all the spots down there. Its a nice place and most tourists who visit aus dont get to that end of the coast. Its the southern most point of the Australian main land :)

During my trip to Australia, I found my family near Canberra. With my cousin and her kids we spent a day at Pebbly Beach. On the beach a kangaroo mother and her child let us approach them. I was able to take a picture of Gaby, my cousin's daughter, in admiration of this unforgettable moment.

Thank you so much for your submission. However, I am picking other images to go further at this time as there is a large number of entries. Have a great day. Tomas

009 tongariro crossing (12).jpg

Happy new year everybody!!

Walking in Tongariro National Park in NZ is another once-in-a-lifetime experience. The scenery of mountain and volcano crater is really unique and made it in several movies. The top of this mountain just peaked out of the clouds and made it for a nice shot.

Unfortunately, I still have not reached Australia. But I managed to visit New Zealand. One of the places we visited is Rotorua. The park with the geysers is an interesting place. Unfortunately it is not great. And it's quite difficult to find a camera angle where the traces of human activity would not have entered the frame. Not that the valley of geysers in Kamchatka)

Again, this was during our 3-month trip around the world back in 2012 where we spent 2 weeks campervan-ing across gorgeous New Zealand (too short I hear you say - yes I know!).

This photo was taken during our stroll in the beautiful Wanaka town in the South Island. It is set in the most southern end of Lake Wanaka with views of simply breathtaking snowcapped mountains.

Lord Howe Island is one of the hidden secrets of Australia. Just a short flight across the Tasman Sea from Sydney and you can find yourself in an unspoilt island paradise with very few tourists.

When it Will End ??

I took this photograph a few months ago towards the end of a beautiful snow season in the Mount Kosciuszko park, in New South Wales. This was a great place to spend a weekend getaway exploring after travelling down from Sydney. This was my favourite photo that was taken during our travels, particularly the vibrant blues in the background.

Wow.
I love taking landscape photos..
I wish I was in the country of Australia..
I would have contributed to this contest..
