Congratulations to you and all the dedicated poets who took time and read poems, left meaningful comments and voted posts. This challenge proves that poets are dedicated, get paid well and are recognized too.

Special thanks to Daniel for organising this event. It is certainly a huge achievement because he has brought together people from all over the world.

For week 14, I was assigned to @hazem91 and @marlyncabrera.

I gave feedback on Insanity by @hazem91 and Cumaná (English sonnet) by @marlyncabrera.

My weekly find is an awesome poem by @josediccus titled Tales of the End which is a metaphoric poem talking about a soldier bidding farewell, woven in precise words and well structured flow. You should check it out....

Hi everyone! We made it!

My two assigned poets for week 14 were @blessedben and @corderosiete

I left extended comments on this poems:

"Withered Voices" by @blessedben. (A touching poem about voicelessness).
"Sold out on the edge of the bay" by @corderosiete. (A beautiful, impresionistic poem).

My weekly find is "Cumaná" by @marlyncabrera, a beautifuly figurative piece that happens to talk about landscapes very dear to me.

NOTE

I want to express my respect and admiration for every single poet who made it to this completion point. It's not been easy in any sense. I want as well to thank Mr. @d-pend and all organizers and donors that made this challenge possible.

Thank you, @sansoncarrasco, for having chosen "Cumaná". I wrote it from the heart; editing it was also an emotional experience. My land and its beauty mean a lot to me; since my earliest years, they have provided food for my soul. Were its people as clever to choose their rulers as that marshland is to chose the gentle herons as its guests, things would turn to gold indeed.

Shout out to everyone who participated in any way, (I made it about half way, yet benefited so much.)
Congratulations to all of you who completed the challenge, you are amazing!
Daniel, you should be very proud of yourself, you took on an impossible task and in doing so proved it was indeed possible.
I am most pleased to have met so many lovely people through this process, it is dangerous to start naming them all, because as I try I realise just how many people I have interacted with as a direct result of the poetry school.

Thank you again for making this contest @d-pend! It was an awesome experience!

This weeks assignment:

A poem by @rexdickson called I am which managed to inspire me and everyone reading (I think so).

A poem by @whack.science called Useless and it's about words. How useless they are. For me it's the opposite - they encourage me and guide me. But I think reversing it has the effect. You suddenly start to think the opposite (right) way.

And the third poem is written by @tygertyger and is called - The End. I feel the sentiment in it that I think everyone of us felt in the last days.

Congratulations to everyone who took part, and those who made it through to the end! One of my greatest regrets on this platform is that I arrived a few days late to take part in this challenge. Perhaps I could have caught up, but I was still finding my feet at the time...

Thanks @d-pend, for encouraging so many to take the plunge and really commit to a-poem-a-day. I feel the poetry community here has benefited so much from the initiative, and look forward to reading your write up. Here's to the future!

Even I have my trouble in the last 100 days (my sister-in-law has past away, fasting month, family matter, long journey coming home for Eid al-Fitr celebration), but I did finish 100 poems in 100 days. Hooray!

Wow.. I have never seen this before here on steemit. The words are too harsh..dont l deserve to be at least corrected incase l hqve gone wrong? Two wrongs they say do not make a right. I have followed @d-pend for sometimes now simply because of his poetry work. Which of his work isnt a sense of poetry. Go for it report me! Do you think threatening me is going to help? I am not afraid of you! my words are adequate as you lied! And now are trying to deflect !

He could use the tag hippo but if his post is not about hippos and you pretend it was because you were to lazy to read the post and find out what it was about (how is this for harsh ) and someone calls you out on it threats are a poor ass response ! You acted like this was a poem! you acted as i you had read the post as your response was "this poem is no exception " as if this post was a poem and you read it . If your answer after my first question had been "oh I meant his general poetry" it would have been an entirely different matter, but that is not what you did is it? You acted like it was a poem and lied.So please report me for speaking the truth ! and just because you follow him does not make writing a phoney comment then lying about it ok ? In what universe does following anyone give you these rights please elaborate? And no i am not going to coddle you like a three year old give you a lolly and beg you not to lie again!

You got caught lying and now are feeling sorry for yourself? I gave you harsh words because you deserved them you lied to my face! Also the Sir is a LADY! And of course he used the tag poetry he was talking about the poetry challenge it still did not make it a poem. BTW I did not flag you initially but because you just threatened me consider yourself flagged !

I have never lied and would never thought of this sir.. I do read every single post l comment. I do respect every single word you have shared not simply because one of us is RIGHT or WRONG. But because l value what is RIGHT must always be done... I think it is nice to be good to everyone... Thanks so much sir but kindly help being the best out of people... You may be right but how you approaches matters makes everything wrong. Nice meeting you sir. Sorry if l said anything wrong. Steem on!!!

This is what makes me so disillusioned with Steemit and people in general. people who do not even make an effort but yet rake in the dough. (for Pete's sake in one of his posts he did not even bother to post his pictures right side up! SMH) people who really do not seem to care about the people they serve low calorie meals for a quick buck seem to thrive here . It is why our world is going to crap because it seems to be general human behaviour ... am just done for the day :( makes me ask myself why do even still make an effort...

Hi poets, first of all, I have to apologize for not dropping weekly assignment earlier, I just had to take a break after the challenge...

The challenge no doubt has been fulfilling. In the course of the challenge, I had the opportunity to read great poems from talented poets. I must say, I really enjoyed myself and this has made me esteem poetry very high.

As I usually say, poetry is the language of the soul and a food to the mind.
To @d-pend who organized this amazing contest and other participants who made it to the end, I really appreciate your effort, doggedness and tenacity in churning out great piece everyday .

For the last week of the contest, I was assigned @mrbreeziewrites and @marlyncabrera. I commented on @mrbreeziewrites ' Tales of the Beginning and @marlyncabrera 's Cumana

I can't believe it's come to an end in never thought in any way that i could write poetry for a week let alone a hundred days. It's really been fun so far, congratulations to all the wonderful poets and thanks @dpend for this glorious contest.
