      in pr you pay less than 1%, in cali i pay 33%, ouch, steem holding i have to pay 20% but if i trade daily i pay 33%, i do trade steem that is why im not powering up.

        Wow, sounds interesting. I should go too ;). Do you trade Steem for BTC or SBD? 20% of what you earned from interest!???? That is crzy!

          YOu pay 20% if you hold it for a year, but if you trade it back and forth from btc to steem to sbd and so on, you will pay more, you are paying about 15%-20% in your state right now but u have to hold it for a year, if you trade it at anytime within a year then u cant get the 20%, you will have to pay 33% like the rest of us.

              You dont know it but you are paying 33% for being a day trader. Ask ur tax guy, or google ,how much do day trader pay in Virginia.
