We have a comment contest on our Discord server the Dynamics Steemians. The contest is hosted weekly by @dynamicshine. She will pick One post weekly that we will make comments on from the posts I pick from our post promotion areas, namely our dynamicsteemian curation trail post promotion area, that I place in the channel called 'founders-picks'. The goal is to make as many quality comments and replies to each comment you make and others as well. Any reply can be made to any comment. Replies are more important if not just as important than quality quality comments. This will be on going for 7 days each week.
We will award:
- 3- Sbi shares
- to the person who makes, in @dynamicshine's opinion, the best quality comments and replies back to each comment made to them.
- 2- Sbi shares
- to the second place winner
- 1- Sbi share
- to the third place winner
- @dynamicgreentk will also award The dynamicsteemian trail vote to Five dynamicsteemian trail members who participate in the contest and tries their best to participate.
My part in the contest is to award the dynamicsteemians trail vote to the, in my opinion, the 5 top comments in this contest.

As you can see we had a nice turn out with 200+ comments for the first go at this weekly contest! There were, however, some poor quality comments but not as much as I expected.
The comment above by @arny.eye was extremely low quality and perhaps they just have a hard time using English to make quality comments. This is something that concerns me personally. I would love a better/easier solution to translating posts better. If you are aware of a method to do this other than google translate please inform me!
This person above, @mimikombat, had tried unsuccessfully to covey a thought/response here. I should have asked him to clarify. Again another victim of English being the main influencing language on the Steemit platform with a majority of users who have it as a second to even fifth common language they use.
Some shameless self-promotion here by @creativecrypto. They really did give a 0.20¢ upvote which is nice to see but they never replied back to any comments made to them.
Here we see a great example of how @evlachsblog shows what it takes to win by making relative quality comments on any reply!
Some weird spam. Links don't even work. Your spam was lackluster @steemiansarena. Maybe it wasn't spam and you messed up on placing links? Either way, you never replied.
Here @eco-alex gave a great comment but never made any replies.

- she had multiple comment threads that were of quality and fun and often times replied immediately probably thanks to her @ginabot!
- he came out of nowhere and made comments and replies last second. I appreciated the last second rally on his part!
- he made great comments and replied to all of them too! Also called us his family so that's always a bonus in my book!
- great quality comments and most importantly replies to them all!
- She was everywhere with her wonderful cats, Kimmy and Miki in tow! They too were sharing there comments with their pet @evlachsblog sharing them! They were picking up the slack of others and in an extremely well manner too!
- she did a great job commenting everywhere!
- He also commented and replied to everyone! I hope he participates this week too keep the trail vote on him!

So, since this is a contest of comments (or comments on contest), I would just like to add something, too, if I may.
I believe that if a non-native English speaker would like to translate everything from their first language to English, it's also important that they construct their sentences and paragraphs in their language correctly, observing the correct punctuation, use of pronouns, prepositions and conjunctions, and most importantly the words are correctly spelled. Otherwise, the direct translation to English would be all over the place. Google translate is actually somewhat helpful, but for the time being, people should just make the most out of what is available, but of course, ensuring that they also do their part.
Google Translate will not be able to pick your brain. It can only pick some of the words you enter. If they're wrong, then you won't get the translation close enough for other people to understand.

Also, I noticed, and I must agree, writing a post really does consume our own energy as well as the battery of our phone or other devices, unless we use desktop computer which is run by electricity, or the device is plugged in to charge the battery. Either way, what matters is you are able to deliver the message you want to convey.
