Yes! I was just reading about that - I'll use your recipé then!
Oh no, I left my kazoo on the farm, I only have my ocarina with me! I'll play a little in an upcoming video! Do you play any music?
You rocked it on Dlive at 4am!

Yay ocarina! :) I sing mostly but am not good at any instruments. I've tried to learn guitar and between my brain not computing it just at all and the fact that I have tiny little hands that hurt trying to fret, I suck. I understood piano right away - I once planted myself in front of my friend's piano for a couple of hours and went through her entire level one learning book and got it, but I never had a piano or keyboard of my own to really learn on. That's on the dream wish list. :)
And thank you! :)

So Phoenix, what would 100 delegated SP do for you? I see you already have that awesome slider, do you use it a lot?

I use it all the time and I still manage to drive my VP into the 70s, lol. I try to spread out the votes and give love everywhere as much as I can. :) I have the slider because of delegations; I'm juuuust shy of minnowhood on my own. So if I had an extra 100 SP delegated, I would just be leaving extra pennies all over Steemit!

Extra pennies! Yeah keeping voting power high is hard! I have noticed your efforts to acheive minnow status, keep it up!
I see your big delegation is from taskmaster! Was that from a contest or something?

Nope. I posted a thank you to Lyndsay for the original 250 she delegated to me, and he just commented, here, have another 250! My SP at the time was tripled from 250 of my own.

Woah! Steem is so much fun! I'm getting sleepy and running out of questions to ask! Tell me more about your awesome book! Did you do a lot of research?

Hahahaha. I have to come up with some interview questions for you! Where are you from originally (Wisconsin?) and what caused you to move? How long have you had your farm? Who is taking care of it while you travel?
My book is ancient Irish history/mythology. I did gobs of research, but it was a story I had known for years before I made my own retelling of it. the main characters are real live historical people, but their story has been so highly mythologized and altered over time - some inadvertently, as happens in folk retelling, and some very obviously purposefully by the church as they often did trying to convert Pagan stories to a new religion - that there are so many different versions that agree and disagree on various points, or omit and add. My version essentially leaves the faerie mythological points in, and logics out other points. I almost wrote a second version - I started it, but didn't finish it - that was de-mythologized too. Maybe I'll finish it someday. And then of course I listened to my own muse. :)
Basically, the titular character is a warrior hero who is said to be the son of the sister of the king of Ulster, and one of the Tuatha de Dannan, the fae, the faeries, the fair folk, the Gods of Ireland. So in this version I left that idea intact with fae mythos. In the de-mythed version, a pet theory of mine is that Dannans are actually Native Americans, so I would have made his dad Native American, and the main character's highly mythologized battle fury as PTSD berserkerness where it's normally explained as Otherworldly in nature.
My big sticking point is that most Pagans agree that the main character was gay, but of course the Christian versions DO NOT say that. But it's a case of wow-so-obvious hack cover up attempt. I've written about my reasons on that score before, but it's still kind of funny what they left in and what they added to try and hide it. Like in one version of the story, there is (the war is real history) a war going on and at this point, the only people defending Ulster from the invading force are the two main characters (aforementioned warrior hero and his charioteer). Two guys trying to fend off an army. So they've been leaving challenges and taunts and single combat fighting and shooting at them (with a sling, the story is two thousand years old, no guns) and shit, trying to slow the army down. IN THE MIDDLE OF THIS supposedly the main character is like, oh, I have A SEX APPOINTMENT with some farmer's daughter and I can't miss that, and he goes to boink the farmer's daughter that apparently was scheduled to happen and makes the charioteer stand guard all night and watch as the army marches on past while he's busy getting it on. In the morning, the charioteer is like, the army passed in the night, and warrior hero is like, oh, shit, we'd better go catch them! ...like really. Interrupt the lone defense during an invasion for a sex appointment. Because he boinks all the ladies in that version. Because the warrior hero can't be gay, gotta make him a sex fiend! It's so fucked up it's hilarious. XD

So I am really laughing about the word boinks!!! Have you seen the most recent winning post in @comedyopenmic? Check it out if you haven't its the second 'gay' laugh of today!
We be people, as they say ;p. But animals, they are another level of cray...
(off topic, what was that sandwich competition you did, because I can't find the tag and I have an incredible series of pictures of a most delicious sandwich...)
Yes indeed I am an original Wisconsin Knight, and I left as a young man to see the world, I ran away (dropped out is the 'official term') of college where I was studying economics, my eyes had been open, and I had very little money so Colombia was the cheapest ticket 'off the continent'.
While we are off we do have an administrator, he's been working with us for almost three years now so its his time to show his stuff, plus several of my in-laws are very happy for the space and opportunity, there is enough room for all! I really want to go back with enough saved to make some serious infrastructure investments to be able to take the farm to the next level, plus I think there are some opportune tasks for us here, location and timing as they say.
So how did the native americans get over there? Or was that some leif erikson stuff? There are a lot of interesting Colobian legends about certain figures, even a high priest, with nordic features...
