I have switched up a bit how I am doing things, and I don't want anyone to worry about me. I will be continuing to use this account to post, especially tackling my backlog of posts and talking about what I am working on in my computer science studies. I will however be lowering substantially my engagement outside of my own posts as announced in the small fish games post. That is why I chose to delegate a substantial amount of my SP to some amazing engagers for the near future.
But wait, I have a large delegation (500 SP) coming in around the time of this post's payout! Think you deserve some or more of my SP delegated to you? Read on to find out how to convince me ;p
The WINNERS!
Let's get to some of the winners in the small fish games and the explanations of why they were chosen. Truthfully, I would like to reward everyone, but the finite limits of SP require that I choose only some to reward.
Impact Winner @viking-ventures
In her interview with me, between talking about all of her great strategies for succeeding on the platform, Viking Ventures informed me that 100 SP delegation would put her over the edge for a slider. This is exactly the kind of impact I had wanted to create when I started the small fish contest, and so I delegated to her the 100 SP. Little did I know that she also won another delegation that put her over first, but I believe that one is more short lived, so I can still feel good that my delegation is allowing this prolific curator to vote wider and freer.
Engaged Redfish Minnow Winner @phoenixwren
Phoenix Wren is different. I don't know any other way to say it except 'you steem good'. She hosts contests every week (check these out people!) and once sent me a beautiful orangutan card that is currently smiling at me when I sit at my desk. Even though Phoenix has already earned minnow status, I have been reliably informed that my 100SP will be 'leaving extra pennies' around steemit. Alright!
Headfirst Diving Winner @coinsandchains
One of the most interesting new users I have found, Coins and Chains is the type of person we want on steem. Winning different engagement leagues, hosting a gratitude contest, making friends all around the platform, He has quickly upped his game to 100 SP all by himself! It is my absolute pleasure to pull his full vote up out of the dust threshhold....just don't drive your VP down too far okay Matt?
Turning Point Winner @maxijgcomm
As I have gotten to know Max over the last month, I can tell you that he is an incredible artist. Currently using steem to save up for a new phone, he is having fun in the engagement leagues and was recently curie'd for his impressive artistic stylings! He told me in his interview that receiving some delegated SP would be a turning point for him, and that he would actually use steem more. Let's keep an eye on Max because I have delegated to him 350SP.
You break the system Winner @cecicastor
Ceci is a very special user, so great in fact that we are trying to get her and her family to move down and be our neighbors. She is an incredibly engaged steemian, I know that she has trouble getting posts out frequently, but comments and votes on so many posts, its fantastic! I have enrolled Ceci Castor in 5 shares of SBI after confirming that on the next update they will be voting on comments for those members that don't maintain an active post each week.
I did not delegate to Ceci because, as I was looking for impact, I didn't see that any amount of SP that I could delegate would change how awesome Ceci is. Also you need to recharge your VP! Tsk tsk c;
I have also increased my delegation to my autovoter account, @ecoinstats. I have registered most of the most common misspellings of my username, and this one I liked so much that I put it to work as an autovoter! I have also sent to enroll it in some SBI shares, because my plan is to use it as a steepshot account. I haven't yet gotten the steepshot app to do anything but crash, but if you might want to see photography that I take, go ahead and follow that account. All these winners have been added to the autovoter.
What will I be doing with my main account?
Well, I will continue to post, I have to work off my back log (including that orangutan smiling at me!) and I will be posting about what I am (hopefully) studying, and building and analyzing. I will also continue to use my main account for dlive videos, streams and other adventures. We still have many big projects coming up, including the Bird Land World Tour, that I haven't even told you all about, so don't worry I'm not going anywhere!
Here I will also give a shout out to @ecoinstante - she is working to become a consistent blogger on steem, we have finally mastered the two column post format (what a bear, how to post coming eventually) and so I would be very grateful if anyone interested would support her by reading what she writes, checking out her stunning photography, and leaving nice comments.
Oh yes that's right! c;
I am interested in engaging in a bit of a self test to see how quickly I can go from a very low amount of SP back to 500, so when an expiring delegation of 500 SP comes back to me I will be looking to delegate it!
I already have some ideas, but I will be taking suggestions in the comments. Ideally it would go to several people and cause huge ripples in the entire platform! I am looking for IMPACT! If it is for you, tell me how it would change your behavior. If it is for someone else, tell me how a few more steems would affect the way they do what they do.
I will continue to buy shares in SBI for those who best engage with me, and since there is 500 SP to delegate, I suppose the #smallfishgames LIVE ON!
Steem on, towards LOVE and light.
Hi @ecoinstant!
Wow! well done... giving back is important to all of us.
Not sure if you know of us, over at Welcome Wagon... we @welcomewagon
have one mission and one goal...
We search out and find Newbies, some times one, sometimes two, sometimes many more, per week, on the platform and spend or time, giving them an intense week long training one on 4... one newbie and up to four Welcome Wagon Peers.
We teach them everything from copyright and formatting to witnesses, to using discord and finding communities, to finding their way on Steemit.
After their training week, we pull them into our Welcome Wagon family, and nurture, and work hard to ensure that they are long term members of the Steemit Community. We are big on community. Big on connections, and commenting. Big on retention on steemit.

I'm not sure if we are the MOST impactful! hehehehe
But... what we do will hopefully eventually be ONE of the most impactful - as we try to choose newbies that will make a difference to the platform! We hand select newbies :) We manually train them, we basically love them for as long as they'll let us hehehehe Our intent is to keep those amazing Steemians HERE. We have seen too many people come and go - because they just didn't know how to navigate these Steemy waters! They got frustrated and left before the Steemiverse was blessed by their gifts.
What we hope to do - is make them feel supported, connected, and give them the direction they need to make the community that they love!
So far - we have had absolutely amazing results. You'll see a lot of our graduates making some ripples already! We hope that as we continue to select recruits each week - months later - our grads will be affecting the Steemiverse exponentially.
That's how little changes affect the world, right? :)
Here is a detailed post about what we do -when @shadowspub called us The Most Underrated Success Story on Steemit
I'd be happy to answer any direct questions you have <3

Thank you, Spider.
@ecoinstant, I think a delegation to @themesopotamians would support your goals better than one to my own account. That account helps support 68 users/initiatives who I've selected as current and future Steem leaders - including two of the people you mentioned here, @viking-ventures and @coinsandchains.
I just published a new overview there for the Curie sponsorship, which will hopefully make a complicated system a little easier to understand.

Keep doing great work, voting power becomes more important the more SP you have. I thought I was going no slider for a while but I just got a 777 sp delegation last night, so very little time for me to experience no slider XD

That was so generous of your to always looking out for small red fishes like us.. The world has not lost its humanity.. there are still a few left behind ready to extend help to those who are in need..
i am quite interested in your offer.. what do i have to do?? or is a previous post similar to your question valid here??
i dont do any contests though.. but i make it a point to get out of my comfort zone and engage a lot in the best way that i can. In so doing, I kept depeleting my voting power because I upvote too much. I just dont want to leave comments here and there, but I want to leave behin some upvote loves. I cant seem to maintain the 80% mark of voting power. Someone told me to stop wasting votes especially those who have no dustsweeper. But its really hard, not to give something out no matter how small my power is worth.

I know the feeling! I like to vote even just to say, 'I read you and I appreciate you'.
what do you have to do? maybe nothing, but I am looking to delegate some SP that will change behavior, create an impact. I like delegating tohe individuals that I can study, not necesarily pools of SP that 'do good things'.
So you could tell me, what you would do differently if you had a little more SP?
Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

hmmmmm... one thing i could do with the litte extra SP is that I can create awareness and gather little fishes like me to engage more. I would probaby set an example that HOPE for us is not lots at all. WIth constant dedication and perseverence we can get to our goals sooner than expected. It is not everyday that we find big fishes who help out little ones.
If given the chance, I might come up with a challenge every week with the subject on Motherhood or Parenting. It seems that the platform users are more into making more money than reaching out to the community. With the extra boost, people will begin to trust me and join hands in creating a difference. In making a momma voice become bigger. It is not much of a bigger solution, but atleast I tried to give back to the community.

Im currently on lease of 200 sp at minnowbooster but it will expire in two days.. then I delegated a few of my 25sp to steem-ua even though I dont have much SP at hand, i think they are doing something good in finding posts with great content. It will help a lot of small fishes who are struggling to get noticed..
So far that I have been here, I have found several communities where I fit in. One is the WelcomeWagon, where they have a 1 week training course for newbies, which a very great initiative to reaching out. And even if i had already graduated, they still continued their support on us. They have become my family and part of my everyday here. Second is the photography communities such as photofriend and monochromes. They basically support fellow steemians who has passions on photography regardless if you are an amateur or a pro. Then there is alsi the steemitmamas who basically is a group of mothers connectes globally in promoting wonders of motherhood and parenting. Fourth, the BuddyUp, its a group where they fuel up your steemit journey through giving you a boost on your writing skills in providing quality contents which are motivated through creating posts on a particular topics every week. They help you find focus on what you are capable of. Lastly, the steemgigs or what we call the team uloggers which is basically initiated by Surpassinggoogle where one is encouraged to write posts about writing real life stories all about you.

Some wonderful choices in some very generous Steemians. The only one I can think of to add to what's already been mentioned is @thedarkhorse's @pifc, which is all about hunting out those redfish and bringing them into the light.

Finally, I can thank you a bit more publicly! I really do appreciate the delegation even though I ended up with a PIFC-related one about the same time. (That one is only while I'm guest-judging, so won't be with me very long.) I am glad that the slider will stay around long enough (hopefully) for me to have it on my own (especially with another curie to hit my account this week!) Just have to finish re-editing Friendship on Fire, then that collection is ready to be put together the rest of the way and epublished. I doubt I'll ever mess with bricks-and-mortar type publishers, honestly. I cross too many genres, lol. Plus, apparently, once you start doing the whole self-publishing route, they don't like to touch you anyway. :-p
Oh well, that's okay. Hopefully, I'll get a few fans here and there. If nothing else, the blockchain has been okay thus far. :-)

Sorry for the late reply, It's been a busy week already.
I don't know about all of that. I've seen self published things out sell brick and mortar as well. You just don't hit the NYT list... I have a semi-aquantance/friend who has been on the NYT, both of his books on the NYT lost money getting there. You or the publisher have to buy your way onto the list. He self-published his last two and does pretty well...
You also have to buy placement in the bookstores too.... which is nuts!
I could see your style going well with the TOR label.

Yuck re the buying way to NYT and bookstore placements. Unsurprisingly, unfortunately.
Anyway, I figure if I find a publisher, great! Until then, I'll just keep plugging away.

They also have it rigged to where the Amazon purchases, count as one purchase..... but a bookstore buys 50 it counts as 50....
It really is a mess....
And definitely keep plugging away. I have a feeling it will happen some day.

Also, if you want a return amd also help out @welcomewagon, @youarehope, @tarc and @poetsunited, you can delegate to my bot - @alliedforces. Small bot but do what I can with it.😎
