I don't know that I am building anything per se, but I suppose I am trying to build community. I'm an anarchist and a Pagan, so a lot of my contests are about doing good deeds (mutual aid!) like #ophumanangels or #cleanplanet, or getting to know your nature by doing a scavenger hunt for photographs, or joining in other initiatives that I like like #seven77 (the current contest!). I loved it when we had a big OHA community last year, but of course when crypto crashed, a lot of Steem activity crashed with it, which made me rather sad, because the actions themselves were rewarding and reading about others' actions was inspiring! So that's what I aim for, more of that kind of solidarity and community - I don't know how successful I've been, but I try! :)

I'm building (well have already built, will release it in a day or two) a steem services marketplace where you can posts tasks that you need doing, and fellow steemians can offer to do them for you for steem/sbd. I think these sorts of things are really important for crypto (in this case steem) to start generating value. It's called steemtaskr (when live it will be at www.steemtaskr.com), and it will use a new token (TSKR) I've created on steem-engine to pay your fees. If you follow the app account (@steemtaskr) you can keep up with updates, but also I'll be airdropping tokens from that account. Nay, I'll be spraying them around! :)

This is a really neat and positive contest you have going here. I love the support you are giving for those building communities and making big impacts.
I have been working on building up the needlework community since July of 2017 here on Steemit. It’s been a long and slow build but we are finally making a great impact on the blockchain and inspiring others. I started the weekly initiative #NeedleWorkMonday and was funding contests, challenges etc from my own personal account. I decided to make a communal account with hopes to build up more rewards for the needlework community because I felt for the creativity and hard work that’s put into these projects, they should receive more. I also wanted to get more eyes on our community. So the @needleworkmonday account was born just 8 months ago. We are getting support and shown a lot of love which was our goal. We plan to continue inviting others and making it known the beauty and hard work that are put into these handmade creations.
