By the way, it is awesome that you were able to build your own telescope. Mine is just the National Geographic 76/700 EQ Premium Telescope. I am still getting the hang of it, studying how every part of it works.

I had not encountered that scope before, but looking now at its specifications, I would expect that you should be able to observe the closer planets (Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Venus, Mercury) and probably one or two deep sky objects (most notably, M42, the Great Nebula in Orion).

Have you seen any of those yet? :)

No not yet. I have only used it five times so far since October just to look at the moon and also because I am still working out how to use it. I just didn't get the chance yet to use it recently as I have been busy during the Christmas holiday. But definitely I will use it very soon.

I'm sure you will enjoy it!

I especially recommend that you find Saturn, and also M42... ;)

Blessings!

Be an adventure for me
I'll see you, Saturn.

Another haiku for @vdux.

I'm excited for you!

Thanks for sharing the photo of your scope...

Let me know if you find Saturn! :D

Wow looks like a neat telescope, did you see Saturn?

No, unfortunately, I did not. I fell asleep last night. 😀

I fall asleep every night!

Hahaha!!! Of course, I think all of us do. LOL!!! I meant, I fell asleep and wasn't able to come out of the house to look at the sky. :-P
