Coming to an end!

I wanted to put this out there that today is the last day to submit entries for my cypher challenge! There is 15SBD on the line for this competition! To avoid being redundant, I will post the contest details HERE so you can read up on how to enter. Even though the post has paid out, there is a link to a zippyshare file you can use to download the beat.

The idea is that participants download the beat and add whatever they like to it: whether that be sung vocals, rapping, spoken word, instrumentation of some sort, or even a remix. I have gotten some phenomenal entries in the past and was hoping to get more for this entry. So far, I have only one entry. I really want to shout out the person who has entered, as he has entered every single cypher challenge I've done. I can't express how grateful I am for this man, and it helps that he is actually really good too. We are in the works creating some collaborations and I am really excited to get some more work out there!

I'm going to assume that no one has entered because they know my dude @hostioso is always putting up something amazing!!!!!

He really brought the heat for this one, so I'm not too bothered that he was the only entry. I'm more than happy to pay him the reward! His imagery is always on point, he has a very solid flow, great voice, plus with his new microphone, nothing can stop him! I am happy to have met this man through running my cypher challenge, and everyone else who has participated in these so far. Go check out his entry and show him some love for his amazing work HERE.

I won't lie, the lack of interest in these challenges has not enticed me to continue them. I still want to run some type of competition or contest on my blog, though. I will brainstorm some ideas I've had and see if there is something else creative and fun I can come up with. I understand there may be too many music creation related contests right now, and these can be very time consuming. I'd also like for my contests to include a wider range of people. If you have any ideas what might be a cool contest related to music or the arts, please chime in below! I want to provide something fun for us to participate in, and earn a lil something in return.

Hopefully I get a few more entries! If @hostioso is my only entry, I will go ahead and announce him as the winner. I will pay my judges even though they had nothing to judge, and place my cypher challenge on indefinite hiatus until I feel like people are interested in something like that.

Don't count me out as far as offering really awesome contests on the Steem blockchain! There is something not out there yet, and I just have to reflect on the tools this amazing platform provides to find something that adds the value we need. Peace and Love everyone
