The challenge was inspired by curiosity for the meaning of the folklore songs in different nations. I love exploring cultures through Steemit 💜

Initially, there was a promising number of people who were interested in the contest. The original post received more than 100 upvotes and yet only 5 people participated. You can check them 4 of them here and the 5th here.

The rules pointed out that the winner will be decided by the number of upvotes in their comment in the original post. It seems that most of their followers did not get that. The upvotes in their post are significantly different than those in the contest's comment. For instance the 2nd place post got more upvotes than the 1st, the 4th submission has more upvotes than the 3rd and so on.

The 350 Whaleshares will be distributed according to the rules, but it is important to say that all the participants are winners for me. They won by showing a piece of their culture in an adorable way and I am grateful. It would have been great if more people participated, but it seems that stemians are not as brave as I thought.
