I had a terrible disagreement with my friend for life over a year ago, that I vowed not to talk to him again. He was in town for his high school reunion, I let go and went with him.

I encountered Steemit from a guy at the other table and I feel I am part of something big already.

February taught to be forgiven, curious and be open to opportunities.

I've learnt two valuable lessons in February

  1. Speak up. If you don't, know one can help you. It also helps you to gain recognition.

  2. Give more than you take. In a world where everyone is always thinking of what they can get, think of what you can give to the society

Thanks

February, I learnt the power of daily affirmations, it shapes your reality. Also, confidence, it actually can glow. The way you perceive yourself, it goes a long way to show how people will accept you. I wrote my goals on paper, didn't check all but, it showed me how close I got and my loop holes. I was my own greatest accountability partner. First be accountable to yourself.
Thank you.

@iamthegray @jo5h thanks for putting forth this contest.

  • Sometimes things may become tough and one might be tempted to give up but tough times don't last only tough people do.
  • Perseverance is a great ingredients for someone who dreams on becoming great to possess
  • Associating with people who'll add positive value to one's life is also important cos a tree doesn't make a forest.
Those are the lessons I learnt.

Tanks for this opportunity @iamgray and @jo5h .
February was an eventful month, I learnt the following:
1:Success is only for the strong willed
2:Most successful people trod the most difficult routes and are better and stronger
3:It's not always about what can be gained but more about what you can give to better another
4:To be valued, learn to value others

Hello
Thank you @iamthegray for this contest..
Here is my entry for the lessons I learnt in the month of February..

February was a good and great month for me.. .
Happy I was part of it and I give God all the glory.

Lessons learned.

  1. Never give up in your quest for success always push yourself beyond the limit point..

  2. Always pray to your creator because without Him you can never achieve your success and dreams. Prayer is the master key to success and greatness I life..

Thank you for this once more...

@moneyinfant has added your contest to the list Steemit Writing Contests: Issue #35. The list is updated on a daily basis and your contest will remain on the list until its expiration - there's nothing you need to do.

The list was created to save writers the excessive amount of time spent searching through the #contest tag for writing contests. Now they can just come to the list each day, see new contests and use their time doing what they love - writing.

If you'd like to help spread the word about the Steemit Writing Contest List I'd really appreciate a resteem, but it certainly isn't necessary. The project is simply meant to help writers save time and contest creators attract more contestants.

P.S. If you know of any contests I've missed I'd love to hear about them. Thanks!

February was a great month for me but this is what i learnt:
*you dont need any bf/gf before you feel loved. Love and spoil yourself. Make yourself your #1 priority.
*Time waits for nobody! Dont wait till tomorrow because it might never come. Forgive and forget. Be happy and contented with what you have.

I learnt that destiny can only be achieved through the spirit of awakened minds. Nobody will help you to do what you can do by yourself. Despite my laziness, I realized in a bitter way which has helped me greatly from that time thereafter. One needs to be disposed and active to what he or she wants to do and it will come out great

Nice idea @iamthegray and @jo5h. Here's my learning for February:

Don't get involved with drama or gossip. Mind my own business. Do my own thing. Be true to myself and follow my instincts. Don't spend too much time in Discord (it eats creativity time). Your life does not belong to you – it can be taken at any time. Hugs are better than chocolate and alcohol.

I really like this idea. It prompts us to reflect and then absorb our lessons as we go.

Hugs are better than alcohol, agreed. The jury is still out on chocolate though.

You used to do drama? Lol. Will like to see that side of ya

And aye! You got me on the discord part

After a series of bad decisions and consequences in my life I had decided to turn my back on love and affection, convincing myself that it wasn't something really worthwhile and brought more pain than joy, but things took a big change lately because a very special someone how make me appreciate myself and life.

The month of February taught me not to turn my back on love.

Upvoted and resteemed. In February I learned how important that is. I also learned never to settle for 2 coats of paint when the project needs 4 coats. Take the time to do it right.

Thank you for your contest!
The lessons I have learnt in the month of February:

  • Don't judge anything and anyone by the outside.
  • Don't discuss with someone when they understand what you say even though you were explain more one time. Stop the story if you don't want become crazy.
