A Bit Curious Contest #1 100 SBD in Prizes - 7-5-18

I've got pretty much reasons of joining steemit. Well, firstly, i got to know about this platform four months ago when i was searching the web about "how to blog without having a website".
Actually, the first three website i choose to read some how to's was all talking about medium and steemit. From the view of the writer of those post, steemit was more than a place to just post content and have it all summed up. But its rather more of a platform where one can hear and be heard. A platform that keeps everyone engaged to whatever they found most suitable for themselves, where you can define how your feed appears, what to contribute to and most of all, being rewarded for doing so.
I said to myself " hell yeah! This is exactly what i'm looking for." A platform that already gives me all the necessary tools i need to get my ideas out on the web to people whom i deem will find it the most useful or perhaps, needed.
What actually finally got me glued to this platform is the technology behind it. That's "blockchain". A (public) ledger which stores some amount of datas in blocks and giving no room for alterations. " okay, this is damn too good". Was what flows through my mind when i first learnt about this. Meaning that i could store some valuable information on the web and having no need to worry about all my information being compromised and free from threats, like server hijacking and all that. :)
