Kayaking is both a recreational activity and a sport. It is apparent in a paradise in the Philippines, one of the most well-known tourist destinations, El Nido, Palawan. Many people visit El Nido because of the clear beaches and lagoons that are abundant with marine resources, the white sand beaches, the statuesque limestone cliffs, and of course, because of the hospitable Filipinos.

We visited Palawan Island last 2018, and we left there with the best experience on the beach. We booked a package tour and flight in SM Travelers Lounge, Cebu, where everything was set up, from a hired van that took us from the airport to El Nido, to a relaxing stay at the hotel, to a package tour of the tiny islands in El Nido.

We traveled 6 hours from Puerto Princessa Airport to El Nido, and we had a very accomodating driver. We got there in El Nido a bit late, so we went straight to Mountain Side Inn. It was the hotel we stayed in for two days. The place was not 5-star, but it was affordable and accomodating. The next morning, our driver came to pick us up and have a tour to see the beautiful beaches of El Nido. We booked the boat tour A, and we went to the hidden beach where we played beach volleyball and took millions of photos. We also went to the small and big lagoon and did island hopping and kayaking. It was my first time kayaking, and it was very amusing and interesting. The hardest part about kayaking is balancing our weight to avoid falling in the water. I had my arms soring the whole night because of paddling. But still, I never regretted paddling my heart out because it was so much fun.

It was the best experience ever, and I never doubted the place. Not even once! I would definitely go back there and do kayaking again.

I am inviting @jondoe, @cyberrn, and @sbnmm to write their sport travel blog and be a part of the contest, and maybe someday visit El Nido, Palawan to go kayaking.
