    Weather your a minnow or a whale you need not concern yourself with your rep. Posting good content that people enjoy will gain you followers. Avoid offers of follow for follow, while they're polite in nature they will more times than not lead you into more headache than success. The more work you put into it the better it will work for you, there are no easy answers.
