For those that are not aware, the #SteemWasHere challenge is something I created for us to literally bring Steem as close to the moon as possible. The link to the original challenge can be found here!
I'd like to congratulate @extremeromance setting a new world record for Challenge 2 which is a record for the highest altitude! They reached a height of 5416m at the Thorung La Pass.
The previous world record was set by @knowhow92 at a height of 481m.
As of now the current world records are as follows:
Height Inside of a Building: 1841 ft (@alexabsolute at the observatory of the Shanghai Tower)
Highest Altitude: 5416 m (@extremeromance at the Thorung La Pass)
Congratulations to you both.
I highly encourage everyone to participate in the #SteemWasHere challenge even if you arent breaking any world records. Help inspire others to take Steem to new heights!
