Winner Announcement Post for Contest #1 ! And the Winner is?

I apologise to all the participants and viewers of my contest #1 Share your Favourite 2017 Memory. I would have published the winner announcement post right after I received the post pay-outs. Unfortunately, I could not make it happen due to few reasons. It’s been ten days since I published the contest #1 post on my steemit blog and I am here to announce the winner.

Firstly, I would like to say my thanks for all the participants as well the post viewers. I am excited to announce the winner of my very first contest post on steemit.

There are total 6 steemians who have shared their favourite 2017 memory. You people are wonderful to share your favourite 2017 memory with me through the contest post.

It’s actually tough to choose a winner among six. I enjoyed reading all your memories. But it’s my responsibility to announce a winner and offer rewards as I promised in the contest.

And the Winner is?

While looking at all the memories shared, I was damn confused to finalise the winner among the two @millerkay and @vickiebarker

"It is always good to look back and give some thanks for all that we have been given. I have wanted a sailboat since I can remember. Always too busy or too many other things that has taken my time and money for one but never gave up hope. This past August 3 friends of mine found a "free" sailboat on craigslist.org and thought of me. The boat has no trailer but they borrowed one and hauled this magnificent sailboat home to me. It will take some time, money and energy to get it into the water as it needs only a few minor repairs and a trailer. I've had 2 blessings actually, because now with Steemit if I make use of the opportunity here I will be able to afford a trailer and the repairs and find myself actually "sailing" in this new year coming up! Thank you friends and Steemit.”

0.312 SBD equals 2.67 USD and 0.066 Steem equals 0.46 USD

Total Rewards I received for the post in USD 2.67+0.46 = 3.13 USD

25 % Reward is 0.7825 USD equals 0.090 SBD
