The following photograph is the original work and is copyrighted by a friend of mine named ZoYa. She has generously given us permission to use the image below in this contest here on Steemit. She has asked that the image be used for the sole purpose of this contest only. Any other use of this image is forbidden by copyright law. Please be respectful of her wishes. She is excited to read your stories about her photograph. I will ask for her input on your stories, however, I will determine the 3 winners.

These Rules Will Be Used for Contest #2 As Well.

• Write an ORIGINAL Short Story about the image above of between 750 and 1500 words. (a, an, & the are not counted as words for the purpose of this contest). Be Creative! (I have expanded on the word count because when I write, I feel limited by too small of a word count).
• Grammar and Spelling will be judged accordingly.
• PLAGIARISM will not be tolerated and will be reported. YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
• You MUST use the Image link and source link above in your post, simply copy and paste it.
• Post your story with the first tag as #contest and the second tag #writeitinsteem and whatever other tags you wish.
• Reply to this Contest Post with a link to your post in the comments below.
• UPVOTE This Post!
• RESTEEM This Post!
