That is, you can set your story in New York City or Mumbai or wherever. It’s up to you. Those facts do not matter; the only thing that matters is that your writing is good).

Sun is about to set

On the way to go back home from office, I take this photo when stucking with trafic jam in the peak hour. While everything around is so noisy and hustling, the beauty of sunset gives me a calming effect and a sense of peace. After a hectic day's work, the awesome view of the sunset just removes all my fatigue. Sunset marks the end of a busy day, the end of many tasks. It brings for me a relief feelling from stress and tireness.

It could also be one of the heart warming things to watch. It just spreads the sky, just like a special rainbow with plenty of colors. It’s just a moment, but I feel like I’m seeing one of the most beautiful display of art. It’s so gorgeous. The golden light just instills something wonderful in my heart.

What could I ask for more?

A TRIP IN THE TRIP, with Lord Skyscraper

I'm walking on the highway in Singapore, no sidewalks and I came across this view, where I took a photo to witness the hubris of this city.
Excuse me, Lord Skyscraper, excuse me!
I am so impressed by your highness.
Would you talk with me?
Can we discuss the reason you are there, standing in the middle, covering what would be a glorious sunset?
You, arrogant wanker!
You upset me.
I have been reckless, weirdly content and in love with every being.
You are a being too, isn’t it? Do you have dignity?
I want to embrace the sun, the nature and the sky.
You are ruining the magic.
This is the second afternoon in a row I took mdma and I haven’t been sleeping since 50 hours.
I'm not sure for how long I haven't changed my underwear and washed myself. I’ve justified myself in all the possible ways and now I'm taking photos and talking with Lord Skyscraper personality.
What a poetry is this life, this city and this view, not quite same same but different.

Based on a true story.

Woke Up To This - When in Singapore

I don’t usually wake up early coz I’m not a morning person. But when I’m in a new a place, I make sure to find a right spot for an amazing sunrise or sunset.

This picture was taken during my last visit in Singapore. I may have not seen the sun shines coz of the clouds but it made the golden color perfect. It amazes me everytime I see the sunrise. It’s a good way to start your day.

Have a nice day!

Safe Travels 😊

My Entry in Writing Contest

Dawn in Asian New York.

When twilight recedes, and the glow is already visible, but the sun has not yet appeared, there is a feeling of anticipation. Everything stops, as if preparing for a miracle. The night goes away. Out of gloomy darkness, the vague outlines of the surrounding world gradually appear-the silhouette of a high-rise house, trees. Sleepy silence reigns around. On the highway, which is overloaded during the day, only one or two cars pass. But over time, the sky in the east brightens, the sun's rays make their way through the clouds and illuminate them in pink and bright yellow colors. Soon a bright spot on the horizon will be greater, the lanterns will turned off, a new day will come.

"My Entry In Writing Contest."
I took this picture in a Sunday afternoon when I was walking around to discover the city..

Even if it was a bad day, I realised that at the end of the day at least one thing is beautiful - the sunsets are the proof that endings can be beautiful. So no matter what happens during the day, just watch the sunset and enjoy the little things. When you feel like nothing else matter, because I know there are a lot of ups and downs in life, just look up at the sky. You are not alone and you will never be. Watch the sunset - someone, somewhere, does the same thing in the same time. There is always good in bad, you just have to look closer, to let the sound of the city cover the sound and screams from your head and soul. Make something big! Live the life as you imagined!

Congratulations on reaching your goal! :D

Congratulations to @wanderingdanish, for winning the top prize in my F-1000 Club writing contest.

His entry was a fine balance of fiction, personal narrative, and photo-description. It was well-written and easy to read. It caught my interest and kept it, right through to the end.

Excellent work! The prize is coming your way, soon.

I’d also like to note the 5 runners-up. Actually, I had planned to include only 4 runners-up, but there was a 3-way tie for the final spot.
2 – @sandrina.life
3 – @hanggggbeeee
4 – @iwanderela
5 – @gabrielatravels
6 – @sky777

Each of them will receive a 100% upvote. (Unfortunately, the value / price of SBD has dropped over the past week. But the price will surely rise over the next little while, so you'll soon recoup the difference.)

Thanks (and various upvotes) to all the remaining participants. I appreciate your efforts, and encourage you to continue writing high-quality posts.

FYI, the following were the elements that I considered in judging the entries:
Writing quality / style
Content / interest-level
Overall impression
Relevance to photo

(Note: I may consider organizing similar writing contests, if I have the time and energy (and funds!) to do so. Stay tuned.)

Congratulation for the winners. 😂😂 entry of @wanderingdanish is really awesome. And most of entries here, too. Looking forward to your next writing contests. 🎉🎉🎉

Thank you @majes.tytyty!!!
I congratulate the winners and all participants! We are waiting for new competitions!

I'll see when I can do a similar one again. This was a good little exercise for all involved.

Congratulations to the winners and the runner ups. I like the selection process, even though my entry did not do too well based on the criteria used for selecting the winners. I can only hope that I would do better in your forthcoming contests.

Once again, congratulations on your 1000+ landmark. It is my wish that you attain your Steemit dreams. And thanks for providing the platform for quality writings to be showcased. And to those of us who look up to you for mentorship, we are proud of you. Regards.

I'm honored. Thanks for your meaningful comment.

(p.s. For these few days, I'm giving no upvotes, cuz the contest upvoting sucked out a lot of my voting power. (That's a good thing!)

So, I'm letting it recharge.)

It is all well and good. That wouldn't stop me from commenting.

Thank you so much!! Respect! :D

Feels good man, thanks for the win! Was a tough competition and didn't really expect much, so this is really amazing and I feel truly honored. Glad you liked my style of writing and the content, only encourages to do more.
congrats to all the runner ups, good job all!

Yes, there were quite a few other good ones. But you squeezed them out by getting a few more points for the overall quality. To be honest, the last day, one of the final entries, by @sandrina.life, almost edged you out of the number one spot.

But you ended up with only one point more than she did. So, maybe there was a bit of luck ...

Thank you so much :) I'm so glad you liked it. Even with grammar mistakes and my simple style.
I was going to ask you feedback, because I am still very insecure about my English =) but you are gaving me a very rewarding feedback. I wish I was able to write poetically and be able to use the vocabulary other participants have used here. I had to open word reference to understand what @wanderingdanish wrote!
May I share the story in one post using your photo and of course giving credit of the photo and the contest? Oh well, I guess I can, since you proposed to the winner as well. In case, I can always take it down :P

There were very few mistakes in your piece, and any errors were minor. And your mid-level (or mid-high-level) English made your text easy-to-read and easy-to-follow.

Your talking to the skyscraper was unique and interesting. And it was very well done. Normally, I do not care for such strange writing conceits, but somehow, I really enjoyed yours.

Since you came in second place, and since I've been praising your writing here, you no longer have to be insecure about your English!!! That's in the past.

As for sharing your story in a new post, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO DO SO. I suggest that in the heading you say something about "My Winning Entry in F-1000 Club ..... etc" And of course, you can use the photo.

Again, congrats. I did not expect the final entry in the contest to almost beat out the leader, but you came so close. Keep writing, and keep being unique! (In your case, I believe it's inevitable that you will always be unique!!)

Perhaps I Was Just Being Stupid

It is all my fault. I did not follow my instincts, that inbuilt voice which warns us of impending dangers. The mighty, elegant tower which rises in the distance, punctuated by colourful streetlights, is the famous Eko Hotel in Lagos Island Nigeria. Last night, we had an all night birthday party there. And I drove off at about 4.00am, snubbing my instincts.

A few metres away from the premises of the hotel, two young men flagged down my car. I halted. They pointed a gun at me and ordered me to alight. Afterwards, they hopped into my car and zoomed off, leaving a thick cloud of dust behind.

I stood still, confused. I didn't know what to do, whether to scream. Then, an idea struck me. I brought out my phone and snapped the crime scene.Perhaps it would give the police a clue. Perhaps it was a waste of time. Perhaps I was just being stupid.

Love it :)(:

I am glad you did love it. Thanks.

Clash between Bear and a Wolf

I was returning to home after my office.Suddenly, i saw something in the sky which was quite unusal. A bear was snoring at the wolf with his arms ready to turn wolf into pieces. The wolf was not frightened rather he was looking at the bear with his red eyes and his sharp teeth were ready to bite t bear's body. Then i realized something i was missing to wear. I found my spectacles lying beside me on the car. When i wore it, all the scenes was a pattern of the clouds and so called wolf's eye was a sunset. Then i took the picture to post on steem.😂😂😂"

IT was a dark mournful evening of my life.I was returning home after buried my loving father. It was about seven years ago.I was only 17,on my way back, i captured this photo.A sad sunset with a lot of sad memories.I clicked this photo with this high rise building.Thinking about life.
How temporary is this life?
We forget it in our busy life,In making wealth and homes
we are losing our loving relations ,one by one ,day by day
One day we have to go.I remember my father prayers and they have always followed me.

Breaking  Dawn

It's summer time,we are so excited to cool down and take a splash on the cold waterfalls so we  decided to leave earlier from the Cebu City proper to catch the first trip going to the Majestic Kawasan Falls of Badian. At the bus morning people are eyeing on the golden hour that greeted everyone as we go on our journey to the Southern municipality of Cebu,Philippines.

As the dawn breaks, the street is still empty, the lampposts on the roadsides are on and the graveyard shift workers are coming out from the BPO skyscraper that proudly stand, reflected by the sun's warm orange rays. The morning mist gives a chilling effect and the aroma of the newly brewed coffee on the stranger's hand on the other side keeps me awake while reminiscing good old days on a Sunday's retro music being played on the bus antique radio.I was sitting beside the windows and the morning breeze kisses my cheeks as the bus headed South,I had the opportunity to capture these beautiful piece of art that is  called sunrise.

My Entry in Writing Contest

Sunrise is the beginning of a new day

The night can not last eternaly... No matter how infinite it may seem, no matter how dark it may be, it is always followed by the dawn of a new day.
And dawn begins with the timid rays of the sun, which seem to take the first steps in a new day. They highlight the clouds that turn pink and bright yellow. Sky from the black becomes blue, then is light-blue. Rays of the sun shine into the windows of a multistory building, they make their way among the branches of trees. With every minute glimps are getting brighter, and the sun rises higher and higher. The dawn is filled with energy and optimism. Very soon a new day will begin.
«The sun did not just rise, it rushed like a flood and overwhelmed the whole world». (Ray Bradbury)

My Entry in Writing Contest:

We don't have time to stand and stare

It's the end of another beautiful day. But people don't care about it much as they struggle to go home early. The only thing on their mind is how to survive on the next day. Impatient sounds can be heard when the traffic light shows red. No one wasted a minute to look around. But can we blame them? No, we are all in a fight with the time. Roads were brightened as the street lamps turned on. yet it cannot be compared to the color patterns on the sky. It's a pity that most of us cannot see it. We just don't have time to stand and stare.

The letter to the beloved

My darling, do you remember that our unforgettable dawn?
How happily we met that morning, droving out of city, when the beauty of that dawn seemed to be such incredible specially just for us!
A string of street lamps in a still sleeping city, high-rise buildings lightly illuminated by the sun, and then the rising solar disk... It seemed to smile to us, sending its life-giving warm rays!
A fantastic picture of the sky, lined with clouds of the most bizarre shape and colored in different colors!
Do you remember how we admired the beauty of the awakening city and the beauty of each other!
This morning city seemed to be the most beautiful city in the world, and we seemed to each other to be the closest and most loved people.

Oh, now I'm admiring the beauty of morning city alone...

Where is that our great love, our spiritual kinship and mutual understanding?
Now we live on different continents...

But our beloved city with its fantastic dawns - here it is, still majestic and beautiful!

THE START OF A NEW DAY

I like to wake up early. For two morning hours can be done more than an eight-hour day. I wake up and look out the window. The early dawn breaks through the gap between the storms. Morning hour walk, when the city is still sleeping - it's a great pleasure. Singapore is immersed in silence. Heard birds singing. I go around looking at low houses and skyscrapers at some distance.

The solar disk flares up brighter, rises higher, sending its warm rays in all directions. It already seemed a full circle, and it began to hurt to look at him. And in a few moments the sun seemed to come off the ground and floated in the blue sky, filling all the living with power and energy. A new day has come.

My Entry in Writing Contest

All moments of life in one photo.

Today I want to share with you a wonderful photo of my friend. It was my honor to write a description to her.
In this, at first glance, the usual beautiful photo, contains many unique features. This photo caused me an ambivalent opinion. When I saw this photo for the first time, I took it absolutely differently than when I looked at it at the maximum size. The light of the lantern seemed to me like the sun that is moving towards the sunset. When you open the photo in full screen, you will see that in this photo everything is very harmonious. Are very difficult to express that inner connection of each fragment of the photo. The light of the right lantern is closely connected with the evening sky, the other lanterns merge into the composition with the lights of the cars on the highway. Clouds in the sky seem to envelop a multi-storey building. All this is a great example of the fact that beauty can be everywhere and in every moment. Appreciate life Good luck to you and kind regards.

The Night Is Arriving

So, after a log day of classes, the time to go home has finally arrive. What I love the most of my trip to home? The views I can find on it. They're sure beautiful. Photos where the sky is the main feature are my favorites.

Only 3 weeks to finally go on vacation. This semester was really a hard one, but all this effort it's going to give fruits in a (I hope close) future.

Now that I am home, let's have a nice dinner a rest, beacuse tomorrow it's laundry day x.x

A TRUE PROMISE OF A BETTER TOMORROW

Last night, I arrived home drunk and lying down on my bed as if there’s no more tomorrows. I was feeling helpless and hopeless, wanting to forget all my life’s failures and miseries. At dawn, I heard a soft voice whispering into my ear reminding me to just hold on, keep the faith as I have a loving God who will never forsake me.

I stood up; slowly and soulfully found my way to the window to get some fresh air but this beautiful scenery bestowed upon me. A promise of Hope , a new beginning of a better life ahead. I standstill, realization came in and suddenly thanking God for the gift of life and for the blessing to be among those who have given the chance to see the world, for the gift of sight that let me see the wondrous things He created and for my soul to help me beyond my sight.

Tears just fall down on my cheeks as I continue my prayer by saying, “I know you hold me in the palm of your hand and shield me with your grace. But as the years go by, I feel the yoke of sadness and pain and worry how my life would end. But today I came to realized that you are sending your angel to save me from despair.”

At the corner of my eyes saw my camera, so I grabbed it to take a snapshot of the glimpse outside for it tells a true promise for a better tomorrow. Each morning is a sign that we are given ceaseless chances to stand up from yesterday’s fall. An assurance of God’s divine protection, love and compassion despite our flaws and shortcomings. A reminder to begin the day right and end it better than each passing day.

Dawn Of The Sun : A New Beginning Of Life

During my early childhood, my father would take me to watch sunrise over the hill. It was an ideal place to watch sunrise. The place consists of building, road and trees alongside the road that was surrounded with only the purity of nature. This place was the “ideal place” for the sunrise because no matter what was wrong in life, this tranquil area, which was like the Garden of Eden, was a means of escape to me.

My father used to tell every sunrise brings hope to people. The hope and the sun gives us life in the earth. New hope is the centre of existence of life. Sitting on the ground on my father's lap watching the dawn he used to tell me everyday has a sunrise and every day is a new day and you get a new life. So make it inspirational and worth living. He said, "The next time you see the sun rise and watch its rays brighten the morning sky, let hope fill your heart". It was eight day from this moment he died fighting with cancer in hospital bed. His memories have now become my heartbeats.

So everyday I go to watch sunrise imagining my lovely time with my father. It's a new dawn, it's a new day, it's a new life for me and I am feeling good. Thank you ! dad. I can be a great person in future some day, but I believe that I can never be greater than you. Dad, you have given me all the inspiration and love I need.

Stand Tall; Rise High like an Edifice
Below you seem so dark and gloomy. Everywhere you face or turn to seems to be filled with negativity. The atmosphere looks awful and the temperature feels so cold. You've been through series of hurts and heartbreaks. You seems to be going down; just down it feels.
Yes... that is the way it feels because you've only been looking down. Look around you, look how deep below you've gone...
Guess what? You were laying the foundation of your rising.
Now is the time to look up!!!
It's bright up here;
It's not as dark as it seems below;
Look and stand up!!!
You are meant to soar in the clouds.
Rise beyond your challenges.
So, I say to you:
Stand tall and Rise High like an Edifice!!!

Enjoy the Dawn in Singapore

On this weekend my family travels to singapore, in order to spend the weekend and walk with family.
I enjoy the dawn in singapore, the dawn is a very calm atmosphere not many motor vehicles on the highway, so the city air is still very fresh not polluted population, the cool air and the new sun out on the eastern horizon,
What a beautiful sight ..

THE LIGHT THAT WAKES ME UP IN SINGAPORE

Waking up to see the rays of light in the morning gives me hope and tells me a lot about my day and myself.
What a beautiful sight in Singapore! The sun smiling magestically from a distance, illuminating the dark areas showing off its strength like a King on its throne surrounded by men, huge and tall like forest trees in their prime showcasing the beauty of nature.

How else can you start a day having at the back of your mind the thought of a "1000" men following, knowing its just a start of a greater hight and better days ahead.

You usually don't get this as often, it come only on a blessed day. Today I woke up to light telling me I can shine, its bright, which tells me I'm gonna have a bright day. There's hope... I perceive today is gonna be a good day.

It is not safe to run at dawn

I hear the dogs coming nearer to the forest. I didn’t see one branch and it got me right into my eye. “Great! Now it’s even darker!” Few more meters running, and I see the fence. I start climbing it immediately. I manage to put my leg on the other side just right before the beasts reach the fence. “Ha-ha, you can’t climb it.” – I am thinking with an ironic smile. I was too fast to be happy. I lose balance, and I fall. Luckily, on the other side. My head hit something on the ground. I take it out and see a phone. Looks just like mine. I unlock the phone and find a picture. Someone has been here just a few minutes ago. Even the truck with almost no lights is captured. I see the same coming.

“Freeze!” – someone shouts out. The chasers found an alternate route around the fence and are running towards me from both directions. I have only one way – straight to the road. I rush to it and realize in the last moment I forgot about the truck.

I fly over an interesting scene. A girl is running in the woods, chased by four huge dogs. She is heading to a fence. I see something shining on the other side of it. It is her phone. She dropped it right before she ran away. I must figure something quick before it is too late. I look at the road – the killer truck is coming. I take a picture. I hope she will see it there. I hope I wouldn’t run.

Story "The Weaver Girl and the Cowherd" appeared in the sky

By accidently, I took this amazing picture when I sat in the coffee shop with my friends. The sky is so strange which remind me about the sad love story between Zhinü (織女; the weaver girl, symbolizing the star Vega) and Niulang (牛郎; the cowherd, symbolizing the star Altair).
Their love was not allowed, thus they were banished to opposite sides of the Silver River (symbolizing the Milky Way Galaxy).Once a year, on the 7th day of the 7th lunar month, a flock of magpies would form a bridge to reunite the lovers for one day.
And perhaps this is the moment I took when they say goodbye.

thanks for your contest. Waiting for your new one.

A Wish in the Twilight

The sun was setting.

Sounds of people passing by in a hurry, the roar of car engines, the buzz of voices, all of them blended into the darkening atmosphere that straddled the line between dusk and the black evening sky.

In the midst of the hustle and bustle of the city, beside a relatively quiet stretch of highway, on the sidewalk sat a little girl.

Her eyes followed the movement of the occasional car that passed, her deep brown orbs holding a multitude of emotions, from despair to anger to fear, all of them hidden in her sight. But despite of the intense feelings that flashed through her eyes, her face was a blank mask, pale and lifeless.

From time to time, a car would stop. Someone would get out to take a smoke or throw trash into the garbage can by the road. But no one approached her, leaving her alone with her thoughts.

She watched as the latest car, a truck, slowed down to a stop in front of her.

Hoping against hope, she whispered, ‘Please see me…’

But her soft plea was taken by the wind, unheard as the driver got into his truck and drove away.

The Untold Story Behind The Boulevard

This photo was taken while I'm having my regular daily walk near our place. Equipped with my mobile camera, I stopped for a while and can't help but to amazed about this magnificent and majestic view I came across with. It was such a scene to behold.

A sole modern tall building stood alone in a boulevard. One lane was quiet and almost empty while you can hear the bustling sounds of cars on the other lane. The condition on the boulevard is somehow correlate with the condition of the open sky. Calm with its blue and yellow shades and restless with its dark clouds.

The dimmed street lights seems like, it telling me that another beautiful day is over and I should continue to walk, move and go back to my humble abode.

My Entry in Writing Contest

My first honeymoon

I felt like I was on the top of the world when I went for my first honeymoon. Happiness mushroomed in my heart and excitement doubled in mind. I along with my wife entered into a huge building. It was difficult to capture the building at a sight, it was that big. We went to second last floor where we had booked a room. After having a shower, I went to balcony to have a bird's eye view of everything below me.
It looked like the sun wanted to call it a day slowly descending in the west over the hedgerow which bordered the roads on one side. Everything seemed black except for the ambient yellow light from vehicles' headlights and streetlights. I could see ant like insects moving on the road illuminating their heads as if they had two lamps fitted onto their antenna. Trees and bushes alongside the roads were like black witches swaying their hands as the wind swiftly kisses their breasts. To cut short, it looked like the world was soon to be engulfed by a devil. Her voice struck my mind and I went to the room from balcony. She said 'Let's go for a walk.' I couldn't deny though I wanted to because as night falls, danger stalks the streets of the city.
We went for a walk. The clouds shaped themselves like Santa Claus who was as if asking something to the other cluster of cloud on that neverending blanket of neon blue sky transforming to cascades of orange in the horizon. I felt as if something perilous was in the womb of the nature. I asked her to return to the hotel but she turned deaf ear to my words and continued towards roads. As she crossed the road, a glowing insect stung her crashing onto her and I lost her for forever.

My Entry in Writing Contest

Be smart and you will never need a job

The sun is rising, and it sounds peaceful. The birds are singing, and people have started going to work. I can hear the traffic noise. All looks really normal and great now! It is about 7:30am and I'm in a forest taking this picture, and the memories of the last night are still giving me pain. Scientists now believe that it is possible to erase painful memories…

Anyway, last night, I felt hungry, so I entered an apartment in this building. It was 2:00am. It was really quiet inside the apartment, and everyone seemed to be sleeping. I opened the fridge and I was really glad to see lot of food there. I stole some sandwiches and juice from the fridge, and came to the living room, and had my meal. Then I slept behind a couch. I had wonderful dreams. After few hours, I heard people of the apartment waking up and getting ready to go out. I hid myself behind a curtain. Thank God that everyone was in a hurry, and did not notice me. Soon, the apartment was empty. I again stole breakfast and then after eating it, I safely ran away.

Moral of the story: Be smart, and you will never need a job :D

A new day comes to the world ... dawn illuminates the sky with the first rays of the sun and life awakens behind every window of high-rise buildings))
The street is still flooded with streetlights, but the sun will soon take away from them this right ...
The mood of all the awakening is different even in the morning ...
Someone wakes up with a feeling of great love ... And a butterfly, his soul, trembling, flutters ...
someone does not want to wake up at all, too lazy to open their eyes and get out from under the blankets ...
the someone in the kitchen smells of freshly brewed coffee and freshly baked hot croissants))
someone needs to hurry to work ...
and someone has a day off))
someone's cat licks his host's face to wake up and poured milk to her))
and someone's dog barking loudly, waking up all the neighbors ....

The new day comes in their rights ....
Good morning, New day...

Got it! Commented.

My Entry in Writing Contest

A night in the jaws of the merlion

My wristwatch clocks in at 7.12 am precisely and I sigh with relief as the first rays of the protecting sun drapes my battered body in a soft fluffy orange robe of light. A thrill runs through me, another day blossoms and I'm once again lucky to be - be here, be alive, be whole. The Lion City roared with thunder, luring me with untold promises, from garden and bay to Indian alleys. The Merlion was on the prowl but I survived the fight, what a city, what a night. The golden orb of life continues it's journey over the sky, battling the gathering clouds for the daily dominance, as I look to my home with a passionate longing - it's time to rest before the next test.

"MY ENTRY INTO THIS AMAZING WRITING CONTEST"
One day, a poor boy who was selling goods from door to door to pay his way through school, found he had only one thin dime left, and he was hungry.
He decided he would ask for a meal at the next house. However, he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door. Instead of a meal he asked for a drink of water.
She thought he looked hungry so brought him a large glass of milk He drankit slowly, and then asked, “How much do I owe you?” “You don’t owe me anything,” she
replied “Mother has taught us never to accept payment for a kindness.”
He said… “Then I thank you from my heart.”
As Howard Kelly left that house, he not only felt; stronger physically, but his faith in God and man was strong also. He had been ready to give up and quit.
Years later that young woman became critically ill. The local doctors were baffled. They finally sent her to the big city, where they called in specialists to study her rare disease. Dr. Howard Kelly was called in for the consultation.
Inspirational short story ,moral,When he heard the name of the town she came from, a strange light filled his eyes. Immediately he rose and went down the hall of the hospital to her room. Dressed in his doctor’s gown he went in to see her.
He recognized her at once. He went back to the consultation room determined to do his best to save her life. From that day he gave special attention to the case.
After a long struggle, the battle was won. Dr. Kelly requested the business office to pass the final bill to him for approval.
He looked at it, then wrote something on the edge and the bill was sent to her room. She feared to open it, for she was sure it would take the rest of her life to pay for
it all. Finally, she looked, and something caught her attention on the side as she read these words…… ” Paid in full with one glass of milk.”
(Signed) Dr. Howard Kelly.
Tears of joy flooded her eyes as her happy heart prayed: “Thank You, GOD, that Your love has spread abroad through human hearts and hands.”
