In today's age, team players are what it's all about. Unfortunately, teams are generally led not by the best minds, but the best voices. People with stronger personalities tend to rise to the top in a team whilst the creative minds prefer to be the ones making it happen.

All too often, creative people are classed as loners or non team players. They do more thinking, planning and analysis and thus are quieter.

Personally, I don't think you can rise in a team as a brilliantly creative person unless you also have the strong, stand out personality to thrive in a group.
