Self medication has been a matter of great concern for health experts; they have created several forums to enlighten the public on the consequences of self medication. Self medication suppresses symptoms of certain dangerous illnesses which would have been diagnosed early enough and given the most deserved treatment. In the disguise of a stitch in time saves nine, people engage in this dangerous habit of self medication. Most of them think running to the pharmacist to get a sachet of antibiotics in a bid to avoid the extra consultation cost of seeing an expert is stitching one to save nine, but that is definitely wrong. These medications are poisons administered at certain doses to take care of disease causing pathogens within the body. One might as well take it and end up spending more on the consequences. Do the right thing: see a medical expert.
