The sun in the sky turns red,
Its golden rays in plants and trees are spread.
The forest glows, so calm, so still, and glared
So beautiful, so nice I’m amazed and thrilled
The world prepares for a coming night.
The trees put on colors bright and light,
Waiting to the sky until light gone slight
and the stars awake from sleep at night.
The air feels cool, the day grows shy,
As shadows stretch and clouds drift by.
The forest whispers, soft and clear,
Goodbye to day, the night is near.
Though sunlight fades, it leaves its mark,
A promise held within the dark.
The dawn will come, the night will go,
And once again, the forest will glow.
