Justification : Gone are those days when parents would let their kids play in sand or infact streets. Parents want their kids to be in home, safe and sound from all dirt and even strangers. But what impact does it have on our childhood? A very lacking impact i would say. It is of utmost importance to stay in TOUCH of mother earth, the root deepens only when we nourish in touch of what we are made of.

Justification:
Like we see in the picture, each kid has enough sand and place to build whatever they wish to. Likewise, this world has enough resources in terms of opportunities, well wishers, family etc which can help you achieve your dreams. The level of hard-work and dedication you put to build your castle decides the beauty of your castle. Likewise your life will be beautiful as your dedication and hard-work increases. We see one girl looking at other girls, it can be perceived as if you do not wish to take efforts, the only thing you can do is enjoy someone else's dreams being fulfilled. Also once you are gone from this world, you will be known only by the dreams you achieved, the forts you conquered and the empire you built.

The younger sister/friend in pink is timidly building her sand castle away from her other peers. She had always been extremely shy and would usually play alone. For the first time in a long while, the girl in pink lets herself enjoy playing with others, albeit with some boundaries still. My caption stems from the fact that, back in the days, kids often go out to play with other kids and create a form of bonding and, buiding sand castles happened to be one of those ways kids had fun back in the days. But with the advent of electronic gadgets, kids no longer have fun this way, they stick to their gadgets and miss the fun of physical bonding which comes with playing with other kids and building sand castles.

Far out on the background, you could see the state of the place before the children arrived. It is so barren and flat. It almost feels like the place gives a vibe of nothingness or blankness. But now that the children are here playing with the sand, they created these little mounds, changing the landscape of the place. Together, the place has evolved into a space rich in dimensions and full of memories.
Indeed, small changes made together create a huge impact, much like how little efforts of many people effect change, for better or for worse.

The beauty of childhood; an unrecoverable stage in man's life.
Justification.
From the painting above, the children were playing with sand which signified zero state of responsibilities. That's to say, they weren't occupied with anything, since nothing is bothering them. Their parents are the ones responsible for their up keep, and they are also free to do whatever they like, because they are children. That's the beauty of childhood stage, where parents are solely responsible to their children.
Still from the painting in my own perspective, I believe the girl child standing beside the children, was trying to reason how will life after childhood stage looks like. Where they( the children) will have to take full responsibility of themselves, for it's no longer mummy or daddy's responsibilities as it used to be. That's to say, the childhood stage is unrecoverable. No going back after it has being passed, because once gone, it's gone forever.

Kids before Innovation - the World before the Technology was Introduced
Justification:
Kids before the innovation only focuses it's mind to whatever they can make using sand as a medium. Before innovation, kids do the playing in the sands and not in the internet cafe.
After the technology was introduced, kids are rarely seen on the beaches playing sands and on the roads playing outdoor games. Technology changes the kids nowadays. Before, only in the sands can they make different things. Now, by the help of technology, they can do even the impossibles. That's how technology affects the kids who supposedly, should be running outside and playing in the sands.

Already in childhood, our desire to build something is a harbinger of what happens in life. Some people build a long, hard, alone - I can say that they are in this life figures. Caption: Reminiscing The Forgotten Childhood Days
Justification:
When I was a small kid, there was no technology yet. It was a pure world without technologies. Imagine there were no internet, no mobile phone and the television had only a few channels available. There was no cable television available. Me and my siblings played all the traditional ground games with our neighbors' kids. We played 'Lompat Getah' (Rubber Rope Jumping), 'Gasing' (Top Spinning), 'Ting-Ting', 'Congkak', 'Batu Seremban' and many more. When we find sand like this one in the picture, we will do many things, make well and tried to put water inside, make a castle, house, building, cave etc. Kids times are the most memorable sweet old days. We climb trees, fishing in the big drain, catch dragonflies, cycles around village etc.

Sand Castle teaches us an important lesson - preparedness to accept failure. When children play and build sand castle, they know that its not permanent, they know that its going to break quite a few times in its making, but they take the pleasure out of it. The reason - less expectation and enjoying what they do. Life is similar to sand castle. Everything you are building, may fail. It may fail today or tomorrow. There is no guarantee that things are going to be forever with you. But if we still expect high, then it brings us sorrow.
