Since I bought my new Toyota Corolla Car, I have not experience any form of disappointment. It is known to be one of the strongest brands of car especially for the African users considering our climate and topography. This ease of use made me forget that I was dealing with engines and man made machinery which could break down at any point. I was so used to a dashboard that shows no maintenance signs that I stopped observing my dashboard presuming that things would always be the same. Well, this did not turn out so well for me in the long run.

On my way to Uyo, from Umuahia, my car’s only pump was damaged and stopped dropping oil into the engine. Midway my voyage my car engine knocked. The car was toyed to the nearest mechanic shop for inspection. “Your car engine is stalled sir,” the mechanic told me. “The car had given you several warnings on the dashboard but you did not heed it”. It dawned on me that I overlooked a stitch in time that would have saved me nine.
