Wow amazing. It is one of the most highly anticipated Lego sets ever made. It is also the largest Lego set ever with 7,541 pieces. How much did you get it for ?
Many people will buy the new one and keep it sealed to sell later in the hopes its resale price will be as high. And of course, many people will buy it just because they think it's awesome. I think it is slightly overpriced.

Picked it up on May the 4th, Lego was running a Star Wars promotion and had them back in stock. I paid retail, which is better than on eBay. Its a tough decision I really want to build it, but im sure it will 2x or 3x in value when they stop making it. I'm pretty sure I'm going to build it!
