Croatians are an old nation dating from 7th century. We had a brief time around 925BC when our first King was crowned that we were a sovereign nstion. Then we entered a pact in 1102 with Hungarians and been without sovereignty and for almost a 1000 years. Many wars were fought on our lands, spanning from ottoman empire, venetians, Austrians and Hungarians. So we were pretty skilled in war. I thought about it being negative before I put it down. I suppose as an American I feel we can be so divided in terms of politics, religion, beliefs, values etc. The Olympics, for example, seem to make everyone forget we are so divided. It’s nice. I'm from Nepal. My countrymen, the Gorkhalis are known to be the most brave soldiers in the world. They were recruited by the British during World War and were feared by the oppositions.
In fact, Nepal has never been colonized by the British,when almost everyone was under Britain's thumb, because of our brave gorkhali soldiers.
