After I saw a short BBC reportage on youtube about the hard life in Venezuela, I thought about a way to make good use of my STEEM Power and decided the following...
I will delegate 10,000 STEEM Power for 2 weeks to a Venezuelan curator to upvote posts.

If you are a Venezuelan Author on Steemit with good reputation and time to curate multiple posts, then please either let me know in the comments why the delegation should go to you or better, write a short Steemit post about it.
2 Rules
- Self upvotes on posts are allowed but no excessive self upvotes on comments.
- Upvotes should be to as many and different Venezuelan Authors as possible.

- The delegation amount is 10,000 SP
- The delegation period is 2 weeks
- If I see that the delegation is misused (e.g. only self votes), I will end the delegation before the 2 weeks.
Going forward
Dependent on how it goes, I would like to repeat the SP delegation to other Steemit curators (e.g. Indonesia) in order to support them a little financially. Even better, it would be awesome to see that other people here on Steemit launch similar initiatives as well.

This is so good and thoughtful of you @tarekadam. I have also been privileged of beingg aware of the the hard times in venezuela but there is actually little I can do to remedy it since my hands are tied. So, I really do commend you for this a great gesture.
I know of few persons who are in venezuela such as @sirknight @darlenys01 @emiliocabrera @marcelo01. All this people are working under the canopy of @steemchurch for the betterment of the people of venezuela especially the homeless children. @darlenys01 recently founded a project called @adollaraday and also #breadfromheaven. She and her team with @steemchurch have been feeding a whole lot of children regularly and project needs a whole of support to run effectively.
So, I believe if you make this delegation to @steemchurch, it will be used wisely and the purpose for your delegating will be achieved.

I am not in Venezuela mysel, but like you I have been doing what I can to assist our fellow man in their time of need. We have been doing so via the SteemChurch.
There are many talented authors from Venezuela and it would be wrong of me to nominate any particular particular person.
I would suggest however visiting SteemChurch Venezuela @sc-v and see for yourself what a difference Steem is making there. In particular - the #heavenbread initiative which is being driven by @darlenys01.

This is such a nice gesture to do. We ourselves delegate some SP permanently to some venezuelan proyects and have been curating hundreds of thousends posts from venezuelans over two years. I know some good venezuelan proyects and there are many without delegations. In this post we presented "cervantes delegate" and some projects posted a comment to apply for the delegation. Maybe that helps for your election (it´s in spanish thow) :-)

I'm from Venezuela and now living in Argentina thanks to @cervantes (mostly) and other projects that curate content in spanish. I was going to propose myself but I trust in the evaluation way of quality content of @cervantes, @repollo and @aidarojaswriter (They already nominated themselves to receive the delegation) I support them! A few days ago we released our English introduction of the Project @la-colmena, although since July we are active as a community. There you can read about our goals rewarding Spanish-speaking authors, especially the Venezuelan ones. Link to the introduction
But at @la-colmena we can't stop upvoting other hispanic authors for two weeks. But I can do it by my own and dedicate the full SP to the authos from my country. My name is on the three last posts about TOP 200 effective Steemit curators in Spanish category for the last week . Either way you should have a look at this list, despite that the fact the numbers there are not entirely true. But it's a good reference.
At @la-colmena are we upvoting 84 posts weekly (starting this one), trying to reward with the highest VP, at this moment it's 75%. We resteem every upvoted post, so on @la-colmena's feed you can see it by your own. And if you choose us, there you can check our daily work.
My personal account is on this trail, but I can separate it for two weeks in order to keep it exclusive for Venezuelan people.

Hello friend, my regards and respect from Venezuela, I have approximately 11 months on the platform and I have now reached the reputation 62, my last 4 months I have turned to the communities related to the creation of content made in videos.

Actually sir @tarekadam , there are many talents here at Venezuelan steemit, but I think that at this moment it is important to put a grain of sand towards the process that children are living in our country, @darlenys01 has been leading fixed and mobile children's canteens and making impeccable work, with goals set at short, medium and long term. I am dedicated to curate content that keeps me entertained, funny and concerned about games, because the poems and the literature heavy is not my forte. Currently I write in English, because there is a greater amount of public, but my videos are in Spanish, because in addition I have my youtube channel.

I have not a really good english but... i will try. Personally, i think @ilazramusic would recieve the delegation. Why? He's a steemian with a great vocation to help another people, and has a nice trajectory in projects like C-square, curie, el arca and his own project (swimproject) dedicated to help new steemians. I know he will use the delegation to upvote posts with a great quality and impulse the people (venezuelans) to make a better job.

Run a contest or invitate the Venezuela community to post pics or something good about Venezuela is a good incentive and a good way to join and vote venezuelans posts talking about our country. I will vote with some percentage one post per user that participate in the contest... The winners will receive higher upvotes in other post. Again, just an idea that came up. The Venezuelan community is too enthusiastic with contest ;)

I would like to nominate myself on this occasion, if it is not very daring on my part :) and be able to be part of this great project every time stronger, and I would like to start thinking about who I am and what is the message I try to promote towards the community with my content:
I am Jesus Marin, Venezuelan and I have a visual disability, my content is related to environmental education, training and the development of techniques of development and skills for people with visual disabilities, including the tactile communication system in its entirety as the Braille language and even some technologies designed for the blind, having as main goal or purpose to improve the quality of life of these people.
The Steemit platform was able to meet me through two users who reside in my town, @Holadeivi and @Rosicreative. They knew that I carried out activities or jobs for the comprehensive care of children and adolescents with special needs such as the visually impaired, and because of this they recommended me to take this project or educational perspective to this platform, where users find that they would be motivated to learn or know about the techniques and management that a person with visual limitations should know.
Seeing all this learning that could boost or direct towards others, I decided to project my knowledge and experience towards the Steemit platform and in this way, I was able to discover a large community of users with a great diversity of topics, talents, abilities and facets, giving me the opportunity to be part of it and allow me to expose my message to the Steemit family.
Counting as a project or central idea,
Besides showing my talent, I want to motivate all those people with special needs and who have skills, facets or any talent they want to make known, but because they feel intimidated or limited by their condition they have not been able to develop it, having as an idea or main project in the community of Steemit to provide or give an example to all these people, with the purpose of encouraging them, that they can develop and thus improve their quality of life; and why not do it in the community of Steemit ?.

It's a Venezuela based project, although it's not exclusive to Steemians of this country.
