The first Get Shit Done contest has come to a close. We had 8 entries to the contest, unfortunately a few entries did not follow the rules for the contest.

The top winner wins 500 delegated steem power from my account for 4 weeks!

The second and third place will win whaleshares tokens. You will need an account on bitshares to receive them, I can apply them to a post of your choice, if you prefer.

Third place receives 25 whaleshares tokens which can be used to get an upvote of around $4.40.

Second place wins 75 whaleshares token which can be used for an upvote valued at around $13.09. I can send you the tokens on bitshares or I can just upvote a post of your choosing.

Just send me a message on Steemit.chat or via memo. If you haven't heard, you can send encrypted memos on Steemit that are only readable between you and the receiver. This is a good way to send over your bitshares account if you prefer to do that.

Third Place

The third place winner for 25 whaleshares tokens was @crystalize. His (or her, but I will use masculine for simplicity ) ugliest frog was updating his website. He is not particularlly good with code and web design so he continued to put it off.

While updating he accomplished the following changes:

• Added product tabs
• Reorganized content
• Added visual banners
• Edited product descriptions
• Put item on sale
• Added content to a section that he was dreading
• Proofed all pages for typoes
• Had friends review changes for user experience
• Discussed feedback on UX (user experience) changes

The whole project took 3.5 hours and is a big improvement over the previous site.

Second Place

Second place winner was @bedoodle for 75 whaleshares. Her entry was a complex re-organization of their office used for running their Etsy shop. She made a post showing the progress in detail with lots of great photos and discussion. You can check it out here.

First Place

The second and third place was really tough to pick, but first place was crystal clear. @ecoinstant took this contest and knocked it out of the park with his entry.

@ecoinstant took the largest banana plant they have neglected for two years and went to town. The reason it was neglected is the massive size of the tree. Most trees get cleaned 2-3 times a year, but this one was ignored for 5-6 cleanings due to the amount of work involved.

Not only does @ecoinstant talk about his ugliest frog, he goes into fantastic detail of the entire journey with photos all along the way. It is an amazing read and I highly recommend you check it out! It has horses, dog, rooster, butterfly, frog, sheep, and of course bananas!

@ecoinstant you have won my hard earned 500 Steem Power for 4 weeks. I have already made the delegation effective immediately. I am no longer a minnow, but a super tiny one now.
