My first job was sales representative, selling airtime.

Cutting grass was my first job.

My first job was being an ESL teacher when I was 18. I taught Chinese students under a an ESL company. That was actually a part time job. It was really a great opportunity to share a part of me to others through teaching. DQmV5tJptDLhmwds2d5vpG5BVGud7VgDbacKWL5KygbKVc8.png

That's nice! Maybe you can teach me some chinese as well someday! ;) thanks!

The first job I had was with my 3 brothers, shoveling snow from driveways and sidewalks in our neighborhood. We would get $20 to split. We used to give our parents some too when we had a good day.

That's looks like a hard job but i'm sure you were really proud of it! And your parents too ;) thanks mate!

Programming small scripts as an online freelancer. Started immediately when I reached 18 yrs old and could register my own paypal account. Was making in the end probably like couple of dollars per hour, but It was crazy for me that people agree to pay money for me learning programming. And customers were happy to pay like $20 for the job that "real" programmer would make 10 times faster but with $200 price... Win-win.

Well done! I guess you are still programming right? :)

Yup, and I really like it as well.

My first job was teaching, I finished secondary at an early age of 14 couldn't continue my education immediately after secondary due to some family problems.
No body offered me a job at that age until my a uncle of mine who knew my ability helped me to get a teaching job where I thought basic4 class. I was a great experience, even won the best basic teacher award of the year.

Congratulations to winners of Question14: @bikkichhantyal @ecuadorhomestead & @rzaprilia22

My first job was as security guard in the FC Barcelona stadium Camp Nou when I was 17 :)

Wow nice gig! I hope to someday come to a game at the Camp Nou, it looks huge on TV.

I found my first job at the University, where I studied. I did a program on the Visual FoxPro for the selection Committee for two years. After graduation, I quit. I worked almost for free with my friends. But it was easy and fun

My first job was when I was 12 years old, it was a paper round that I got paid £13.50 per week for doing. I had a route before school and then after school, I'd get up at 6:30am then wouldn't get home until 6pm but I loved it.

I felt like a millionaire when I got my first few weeks wages and remember I saved the first 6-7 weeks and use it to buy a Nintendo 64 with James Bond Goldeneye!

OMG I loved that game! Had a paper route when I was a kid too. Got up every other morning at 5am. My brother had the other days. Was a lot of fun and tought me a lot.

It was brilliant, I still have my N64 console in the loft. Sadly Goldeneye got broken one time in a wrestling accident with my brother!

Yeah it was always fun delivering papers, wish I could go back to those days quite often.

That's amazing! I loved the N64 as well haha :D wow the old times! thanks for joining!

My first job was as a caterer, baking cake and other flour products for my customers.

@thepassenger PLEASE don´t overbid the bots, you just made us all lose money(including yourself). Use https://steembottracker.com/ to check the maximum bids for each bot for any given time and DON´T GO OVER THAT because you make ALL of the people who bid on that round lose their money(again, including yourself). Get smart, be smart.

Btw, my first job was NOT educating people on how to use the bots, as you may have guessed... :S

Nice post tho, no grudges. Contests are fun!

Hi @wolfenlord I use steembottracker since day1 and I never go over the max bid! Maybe it was a mistake or something, but I clearly understand how it works ;) I am using the bots to promote the posts as well and to have a greater pool for the rewards on the contests as I am sharing part of the SBD generated with the people who participates in the contest.
Can you give me more details about the calculations and so on that you used? And which was the wrong post/bot vote? Thanks for letting me know! ;)

Sorry, I was away for the holiday and much time has passed and there is no history in the bottracker(except dating back 1 round from current). It might have been RPC lag(when multiple bids arrive at the last second due to lag, and several of them go overbid). I can see clearly you know how to use the bot and that your intentions aren´t bad. I´ll resteem your contest and promote it as well. Good luck!

Yes that could have happened but i always try to bid 1 minute in advance! Thanks for your words I appreciate it! :)

My first job was my freshman year in college at age 18 - I worked in the kitchen of a university dining hall to pay off my student loans. Friday nights were the best - the upperclassmen shift leaders would hand out beers to the freshmen like myself as we scrubbed all the dishes and cleaned up the dining hall after hours.

hehe that's a nice memory for sure, specially the beer one ;)

My first job was teaching

I applied for it immediately I finished my secondary to get fixed before I gain admission into the University. It was an experience I will always reminisce for good. During my time as a teacher, I found myself loving it and seeing it has a hobby.

My first job was when I am 17 years old. I worked as a sales associate in one of the kiosk of a mall. To save some money for my tuition fee.
Even when i'm in college i still worked as a part time student so that i can help my parents for our daily needs and also for my allowance.

Good memories on that first job :) Thanks for joining!

Yes it is.. it really mean to me. I learned a lot from there.
Thank you..godbless.

I was a milko, as in one of the young runners that dropped off milk from the trucks to your front door lol.. Kept me super fit but damaged my knees for life, repetitively jumping off a moving vehicle. Started at age 13 and worked kept going until I was old enough to apply for McDonalds.

Ouch, thats tough. I can see why your knees are bad.
