I just went and tested it and made three comments and two got upvoted so it seems a bit random, there is no way to turn it off as far as I can see in the settings. It's a pity because it easier to upload photos in the comments without having to use Imgur!

I know it can be really tricky trying to find a fair way to judge a contest but I'm learning from my mistakes. :) I think I might continue just having a guest judge and have someone different each week, maybe even yourself one week if you would be up for it. :)

The contest is evolving week by week and I have a few ideas for growing it in future and a guest judge on a weekly basis is osmething that I think could make it a little more interesting and interactive. :)
