Hi Steemians,
Happy Mid Autumn Festival! Tomorrow is the Mid Autumn Festival in the Lunar Calendar and I’m sure many Asian countries will be celebrating this special day. To celebrate this festival, I can’t give people mooncakes but instead some Steem Monster cards instead?
Steem Monster Beta packs have just been released and I want to use this opportunity to give out some to more people so once the game starts in a few weeks, people can actually have some cards to start off and maybe be lucky enough to get some cool cards! What's difference to beta and alpha are new monsters and summoners to be found and the xp are changed.

大家好！中秋節快樂！明天就是中秋節而很多亞洲地區和華人都會慶祝這個節日。其實我想送東西給大家 (月餅？) 但太難啦所以改送 Steem Monster Booster Packs.
Beta 版的卡剛剛在這個星期推出所以想趁這個機會送一點給大家因為幾個星期後就可以開始比賽，我想大家都有一點卡一起玩。說不定跟我一樣可以拿到金卡都不錯啊！Beta 跟 Alpha 的差別就是Beta 卡中是有新人物和怪獸，還有升級方式也有點不一樣

I know that is a harvest festival. And tribute to the moon is also done, right? Although not belonging to Asian community, any excuse for celebration is a good excuse. And since I don't have mooncakes... I'll eat typical sweets instead! 😁 thanks for the giveaway!

Hi @travelgirl I remember last year my old boss was Chinese and was a great teacher. Learnt a lot from him from shooting and maintenance on a country resort. During the lunar festival we would setup the bar area and tables with lanterns hanging inside and some coins. Many Chinese groups would come and visit for the weekend my job was the tour guide on quad bikes and horse riding always good company and friendly Chinese people

We will be excited as our holidays will be celebrating Pchum Ben in Cambodia. My family loves heading out to see the floating lanterns at night and many, many feasts shared with friends. Bring on the holidays... Winning the Steemmonsters cards would just be the bonus!!

Living in the mainland of China, we have the traditional way of celebrating mid-autumn festival, have a great meal with my family, eating and sending moon cakes to friends as a gift. A Little special thing is the mooncake fashion is converted to icecream mooncake, hard to imagine the process to make it lol

I know that allot of moon cakes are involved :P Its a time to show appreciation to the moon which in some beliefs, a full Moon represent Family Reunion. And lets not forget about the beautiful colorful lanterns :)

I didn't know anything about th mid autumn festivcal @travelgirl but have found out that it's held on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar with a full moon at night. 😁

不知道從什麼時候開始，中秋節烤肉變成吃月餅和文旦之外的必要活動，感覺好像是醬油廠商的廣告強力放送慢慢影響台灣人的潛意識，現在中秋節走在路上，家家戶戶都在烤肉。

Such an interesting idea for a giveaway... and very generous.
In my city (Brisbane), I grew up and went to school in an area heavily asian focused so I have a lot of friends with an asian heritage. And although we don't see each other as much as we used to, special festivals such as this gets some of us back together.
This past weekend I took my 2 little boys to chinatown for the festival and they LOVED the lion and dragon dancing... it was such a thrill for them. We all had such fun as it is always a great time being with family and friends.
