This is a shameless self-congratulatory post for my reaching 1,500 followers on Steemit. I consider it to be a pretty big milestone. When I first joined Steemit, I spent a lot of time following people (I'm currently following ~2,300 I believe.) I basically thought "If I follow enough people, I will get a lot of those people to come back and follow me." I think has definitely been true because I haven't gone and followed a lot of people in recent months, at least not like I used to.

I want to have a little fun with this, so I'm doing a giveaway. Not a big one, but just one to show my appreciation. It's really simple. You just have to guess my birthday. Month and day, not year. The person who is closest at the time of payout will get half of the SBD collected at payout. One guess per person. No cheating! (I don't know how you would cheat unless you asked my wife or something lol). If you absolutely already know my birthday for some reason (I doubt anyone does ((except my wife)) please don't guess! I want this to be kind of more like a lottery than someone having the edge over all others.
