WHO IS VOTU

VOTU is a podcast hosted by the @beanz of the Voices of the Underground. It’s also a community of people from all around the world who seek support through each other. We discuss controversial matters of the blockchain and educate each other on how the ecosystem works and is best nurtured. There are many opinions and no voices are silenced.

Themes

Our discord server is piracy themed and roles consist of pirates and wizards, with different privileges and server powers entrusted to them. We have established a pirate code to be read by those who are headed for piracy.

The contest

You are tasked with creating an animated banner that will be used by VOTU.
The banner can be created in one of the accepted banner sizes as can be found here.

What you need to submit

You will need to create a post, explaining your process for creating the banner. As well as writing a short rationale explaining the concept behind your banner.

How the contest will be judged

The final work will be judged as follows:

• Aesthetic appeal - This refers to how the image looks. If we like it, if we hate it. You know the rest.
• Technical skill - How well does the banner work? Is the size correct? Is the animation smooth? ETC.
• Popularity - The amount of likes you get on your submission will play a small role, but this is NOT a popularity contest. - The quality of your work is more important than the amount of fans you have.

What can you get

The prize will be determined by the payout of this contest post. I will keep the SP reward, because we are going to buy a PIRATE SHIP with it. The winner will get the SBD reward. There might even be some contributors who will add some extra oomph to the prize in the form of STEEM or SBD. -wink wink-
