The Deadpost Initiative - Week 41 - Share your most undervalued work ($16 STEEM rewards last week)

in contest •  6 years ago

What is the Deadpost Intitiative?

The Deadpost Initiative is an attempt to give love to some posts that were overlooked during their short 7 day life span, a chance to bring your old posts back to life and maybe make some friends in the process. The goal is not only to share some love with SBD but also by engagement to generate discussion.

Last week

This week we had a fair amount of self-empowering posts. We also had a few crypto related posts. Most of the winners this week are not first time winners. It's nice to have first time winners but also nice to see people winning substantial rewards through the project. I try to judge based on the comments they get.

Also, I apologize for not answering comments on this contest sometimes, creating this post usually takes upwards of two hours because I have to read every post and review comments and then assess which post seems to have inspired or impressed its readers the most. I want you all to know that your words of support are appreciated!

That was a really great and engaging read! I have so much fun reading it. I will respect potato and my french fries from now on. And yeah, potatoes based vodka taste better than the grain based😸

Potato is my one of the favourite vegetable. I like these lines:

The potato wasn’t immediately embraced in the West though. It didn’t help that potatoes at the time looked like gnarled up chicken fingers and needed a bit more preparation to eat than modern potatoes due to it’s relation to deadly nightshade making it a little toxic.
I have some knowledge and some fun to read it.

Wow, this is really great initiative!
I'm going to propose my old post: https://steemit.com/photography/@gibic/pet-photography-my-cat-photo-session

I hope you guys like it, it's a photo session for my kitten :)

Really very nice gesture of your part for your pet. I liked the photo session. To be a beginner, you did it well. With time and the practice of insurance you strengthen the art of photography. You can see tutorials on youtube.

Thank you very much for the completion of this wonderful contest.
Here I present my new entry: More about reading and writing

Writing, speaking, listening and reading are the intelligent ways of communicating people. We learned and taught to read and write, as basic foundations of culture and we have done it using the beautiful Castilian.

Excellent post! Your arguments are very successful. We must know how to read, understand and internalize what we read. I love the image, it is very successful. Good luck.

Thank you very much!

Thanks for the support.

Yeah, we all should keep reading. So that we can learn some new things, and it will be obviously help us to get success in our life. you have described a very good pointed. Appreciate it.

This post should be required reading for people over 65.

Couldn't get your point.. Why you said required for over 65? According to me, we all should have knowledge about it.

Older people are more likely to be victims of cyber crime than people who grew up with the internet and are more aware of internet scams. Also, I was just trying to be funny.

Thanks for nominating my "dead post" for a prize in your contest and congratulations to all the other who saw their dead posts having the value being increased.
As the contest goes on I am sharing another post that is "dead and buried" and that I think it should have been a bit more loved than what ot was, so here it is:

Thumbs up for the initiative!

I'm impressed by your ability to get a whole post out of regretting buying a shirt.

Hi ! This is my entry:

It's a beautiful flower, that I photographed near my house months ago. It is a very peculiar, for its strange petals, and I was not so lucky with this little photo post.

Regards!

Beautiful flower and photography!

Oh wow thank you. Congrats to the other winners too.

Woohoo!! 🕺🏽 thanks!
