Great post and that's absolutely true! Many countries in Africa and South Asia missed the legacy banking but have now leaped onto mobile banking. India in particular is making great advances there. But nothing beats the potential for simplicity and convenience of cryptocurrency.
A clever startup just had to implement in an easy and convenient way and it will just take off massively. Right now there's just a lot of talk and not much action.
I agree the potential for a peer to peer mobile banking solution is huge. M-Pesa seems to be dominant but cannot scale beyond borders easily.
