In Alberta Canada $10 can get you approximately:

  • 2 medium Starbucks lattes
  • an upsized McDonalds meal
  • 3 public transit rides
  • 12L gas
  • 4 or 5 bottles of Coke or Pepsi (2L)
  • you'd be a buck or two short of the cheapest pack of cigarettes (massively taxed)
