The new covenant: For Christ's love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died

In the Bible, according to the Christian faith, there are basically two covenants, one made with Moses and the other made with Jesus. In the old covenant men accepted the law to receive the blessing of the promised land along with peace, the law obliges men to live according to it, the law of Moses was essentially an overcoming of the Code of Hammurabi.
But in the new covenant, the things are different, there is a profound spiritual change, there is a new step, the man must die to sin to receive the true life, which is the eternal life; just as Jesus died and resurrected, in a metaphorical way we also have to die to give rise to that new man in the likeness of God: "Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit" John 3:5.
To explain it in a figurative way, or to better represent this spiritual teaching, we could say that the Kingdom of Heaven resembles a worm that makes a cocoon and becomes a butterfly. The worm dies but gives birth to a new being that is more beautiful, and that's the butterfly. The Kingdom of God is growth, inner transformation, learning, and self-knowledge; or in other words, the kingdom is righteousness (Matthew 7:12), continuous improvement, and progressive constancy.
And this is what the apostle Paul explained to us in his second epistle to the Corinthians when he explained to us why Christ died for us, dying to sin and accepting the grace of a new life means sharing our life with God and his love:
"For Christ's love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again" 2 Corinthians 5:14-15.
