Sticky rice durian, and how to make it (bulukat boh drien)

back again I made a new post and this time I will write a little about how to make glutinous durian.

Sticky rice durian is one of Indonesian food and very popular, usually this food often we meet when the durian season arrives, and this time I will write a recipe and how to make sticky rice durian that I learned from my mother.

Glutinous ingredients:

  • 1/2 kg of sticky rice
  • 400 ml of coconut milk
  • 2 pieces of pandan leaves
  • 1/3 tablespoon salt

Materials Durian fla:

  • 1 durian and pure meat
  • 400 ml of coconut milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla powder
  • 1/2 tbsp salt
  • 7 tablespoons sugar
  • a little sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 tablespoons of corn mixed with 3 spoons of water.

how to make or how to cook it

for the first step Soak once sticky rice for 1 to 2 hours.
then washed sticky rice and steamed with pandan leaves for 25 minutes until the texture sticky sticky rice.
next step Cook coconut milk, sugar, and salt until boiling, and then enter the sticky rice that steamed earlier. and then wait until the coconut milk seeps into the sticky rice,then lift and wait about 15 minutes, then steam again until cooked perfectly.

the next step is to make fla durian, first input coconut milk, durian meat, sugar, salt, vanilla and a little condensed milk into a container on the stove, After boiling reduce the stove flame and then stirring constantly until the fla durian is completely ripe.

after the two processes were finished let stand for 15 minutes and glutinous durian ready to be served.
