Hey Y’all!

Cheesy Bacon Brussel Sprouts

5 Slices of Bacon (cut into pieces)
2 T Butter
4 C Brussels Sprouts (washed, bottoms cut and sliced in half)
Salt and pepper to your taste
5 Cloves of Garlic minced
1 ½ C Cream
1 ½ t Cornstarch mixed with 1 Tablespoon Water
½ C Shredded Mozzarella
¼ C Shredded Parmesan Cheese

Start off by preheating your oven to 375 F.
In an oven safe sauce pan add in your bacon and cook unto it becomes crispy. Take your bacon out of the pot and put in a bowl, take out the fat in the pan. Add in your butter to your pot and your Brussel sprouts and season it with salt and pepper. Cook for about 7 minute and lower your heat to low. Add in your garlic and cream and cook for another 5 minutes. Add in your cornstarch and water and mix until it is all combined. Add in your bacon and mix till combined. Top your mixture with your mozzarella and parmesan cheese and bake for 15 minutes or until your mixture is bubbly and golden brown (you can also broil this). Take is out of the oven, sprinkle it with fresh parsley if you want and serve as a side dish.

Enjoy!

Greetings, Miss Lidya

Very nice this recipe, mainly because it contains bacon in it hehehe. It's delicious, right?

Here in the city where I live, a festival is occurring called Minas-Taha. It is an exhibition related to cooking, dances, music, clothes, etc... This festival is coming from the south of Brazil, a state far from mine. About the food, they're delicious. Yesterday I went there and bought a cheese stuffed with sausage, a krakovia (which looks like a sirloin steak, but it is not. It's delicious. I bought the Krakovia, and, lawn chocolates. Lawn is a city famous for its chocolates. DELICIOUS!!!!!! If you ever want to visit Brazil, tell me that I can be your virtual guide.

Thank you for posting and Good morning!!!!!!

Oh yeah, you're living up to your name! haha that does sound good. 😀

You had me at cheesy and bacon and brussel sprouts. haha This looks sooo yummy. I like how you cooked the Brussel Sprouts as well, so many people boil or steam them, they taste so much better sautéing them. Salivating here as my belly is rumbling. Time to eat lunch. hahaha

haha, yeah cheese and bacon would be enough. 😀 I like the way they come out sautéed also. Steamed or boiled takes away all the flavor from any veggies I feel like...then you gotta add a bunch of salt just to make it taste decent...hahaha

hahaha that is for darn sure! :)

I love Brussels sprouts, but they sure stink when I cook them.

🤢 this is me when I eat the sprouts hehe 🙃
