As an italian, i like to cook so I made some ragù (Bolognese sauce) for the entire house... 2+ hours of cooking but really tasty.
Recipe:
2 white onions
2 big carrots
2 celery stalks
800 gr beef mince (or half beef and half pork)
700 gr plain tomato sauce
2 cans of plum peeled tomatos
salt, pepper, olive oil and sugar to taste
Cut in small cubes the veggies
Let them fry a for a few minutes with olive oil and a bit of salt
Add the mince and cook it until brown
Add the tomato sauce and the peeled tomatoes (cut them in pieces before add them to the mix) and a bit of water
Add salt, pepper and a bit of sugar to adjust taste, then cook for at least 1 hour
Cook your preferred shape of pasta and add some parmigiano cheese
