Idli Powder (South Indian Idli Podi)

Get ample doses of calcium, iron, vitamin B, and other bone-building minerals from the daily intake of urad dal. Chana dal is lowered cholesterol levels and reduces the risk of heart disease.

Chana dal has enough protein. It is a food suitable for both children and adults.

Required things:

Urad dal - 1 cup
Chana dal - 1/2 cup
Dried chilies - 20
Pepper - 20
Asafoetida - small amount
Salt - the required amount
Garlic - 5
Curry leaves - 10 leaves

Recipe:

First, Fry the urad dal, then keep it separate. Then fry chana dal. Fry dry chilies, pepper, salt, garlic, curry leaves, asafoetida. Fry for at least 2 minutes.

Grind the urad dal and chana dal, then add the dried chilies, garlic, asafoetida, curry leaves, pepper, and salt. Grind well. Idli Powder is ready.

Keep this powder in an airtight bottle. Add cooking oil or ghee or else sesame oil to the powder and serve with Idli or Dosa. It will be healthy and tasty.
