While looking at my spice rack and cooking utensils, I realised how modest and simple my cooking journey found its ignition. I have always participated in family cooking, assisting in the kitchen but I had never bothered to explore the art of cooking nor particularly cared. It wasn’t until one mid-autumn festival many years ago that the spark found its fuel. Mooncakes were indeed my inspiration to enter the world of baking. While exercising my creative side in developing my own mooncake flavours, I came to develop the baking hobby as something that I would think about on a daily basis. Baking can be complex but it serves as a gateway to a world of many delicious treats that even the most novice of cooks can take on.
