Walking down the street, I saw cop lights go off and I noticed Sergeant E. Soarez badge #14969 making a man sit on the concrete. While filming from a safe distance, I was approached from behind by J. Ordone badge #15262, J. Russell badge #14485 and Sample badge #14448. Sample blocked me from recording, hindering my first amendment right to freedom of press and violating California Penal Code 148 Section g. They invaded my personal space and refused to identify themselves which violates Menlo Park police policy. A handful of passer byes gave me thumbs up and a couple people started recording as well. All the while a veteran's rights were being violated for a minor bike traffic infraction.
feel free to give the station a call and address you grievances. (650) 330-6300
