Coronavirus: Italian cities close their public places

At least nine cities in Lombardy and one in Veneto, in northern Italy, closed Friday bars, schools and other public places due to suspected contamination by the new coronavirus on 16 people, according to official sources. This decision was taken by the Ministry of Health in agreement with the two regions concerned, because a first indigenous Italian home was identified in Codogno, near Lodi.
