As the inhabitants of Wuhan, China, approach their second week under lockdown, ramble film from ABC News uncovers how empty the city looks. Since January 23, when the Chinese government provided isolate orders for Wuhan as part of its effort to contain a coronavirus outbreak, all types of open transportation, trains, and air travel have been stopped. It’s the biggest quarantine in mankind’s history.
Researchers think the infection, called 2019-nCov, likely hopped from creatures to individuals in a seafood market in Wuhan. More than 21,000 have become ill and 490 people have passed on.
